+ 1 moreHe made 3 appointments to come and do the work and each time he never showed and had an excuse about being too busy. I told him to drop off the railing at my house the next day and I would get someone else to do it. He told me: "Go F*** yourself. No one installs my work!" and hung up on me. I filed a police report (Case #N-140626 Officer Vanucci). The sheriff called him and said he broke the law and has to return the money. He never did. I was being very fair and wrote him a letter and said that since it was the holidays, I would wait until January for him to return my money. I have still not heard from him.
Description of Work: I hired him to do some tile work (which he began but never finished) and make a railing after I put in a new glass encloser in my Florida room. He typically does fencing work. By law, I have to have a rail since I am on the 2nd floor. What I paid him was for him to get the railing and then I would also be charged for installation and for the tile project.
