+ -1 moreThis is the 2nd time I have used Cool World. The first time my air conditioning wasn’t working and they did a repair. The tech told me it was not necessary to replace my unit at this time, but soon. 2 years later, my 11 year old unit needs replaced. I was sure to give my business to this honest company. They have amazing customer service. All staff members, from the techs, to April in the office are polite and professional. I highly recommend you call Cool World for your air conditioning needs!

+ -1 moreCool World was efficient and honest. Our A/C is old but well taken care of and just needed some repairs. We have had repairs twice before and have been told by other companies it can't be fixed and/or overcharged for services. Cool World was totally straight with us. They came on-time, provided a reasonable estimate, fixed the problem and now have a loyal and happy customer. Thank you April and Steve! It's good to finally find an a/c company that can be respected and provides excellent customer service.

+ -1 moreThey were great -- visited late in the evening, gave an all-inclusive price quote, promised to be there early the next morning doing the work, and all on a handshake-- no need to sign a contract. A great family-owned company to do business with. They did all they promised and were very professional. The owner was there theoughout the day as his crew worked. I highly recommend them, and Paul and April were super.

+ -1 moreVery professional and honest. Explained in detail the benefits of different air conditioners and different features. Other companies were trying to sell UV light which would have required replacing an expensive bulb every year. He was honest enough to say that this is not really necessary and is something that is used to increase revenues. They provided a price for a variety of units and sizes and discussed the pros of each one. Spent 10 hours installing the unit which I didn't mind at all - took his time and I believe did a high quality installation. Highly recommend you consider them for your AC needs.

Description of Work: Cool World owner, Mark, gave us a very honest account of all equipment that we would receive and gave us a reasonable price and timeline. He even told us about potential problems with a new air handler that we did not hear about from other companies we interviewed and reasons why our air conditioner was not cooling evenly throughout our house and how he would fix that. Workers came at the time they said they would and work was completed when promised. All workers had respect for the property and were careful about cleaning up. There was a minor glitch at the end with a thermostat, but when the business was called, a worker was sent over in a timely matter and fixed the minor problem immediately. We love our new A/C unit and so far it is cooling our house so much more efficiently. Mark's wife, the office manager, got us all the information for our rebates to us before we had to ask. For such a big job, it was fairly painless. The next time we need a new A/C unit, we're going back to Cool World!

+ -1 more***UPDATE: (9/22/10) We just received our FPand L bill. Last year at this time (before the new A/C install), our bill was $289. Ouch. This year? Oh yeah... $131. AMAZING. We would *so* do this again, a thousand times over, and recommend it to anyone.*** Really exceptional service and terrific prices -- these are hallmarks of Cool World. They were recommended to us by our realtor. They serviced our 1992 air conditioner admirably and, when we'd amassed the funds, installed our brand-new SEER 16 unit. This thing is a dream and the team that installed it worked quickly and professionally to remove the asininely-installed old HVAC in our house. There were some minor technical glitches with the install that turned up about a week later, but Cool World was on the scene on a Sunday morning to make everything right. Way to go, Cool World. We are very impressed and looking forward to working again with you.
Description of Work: Our air conditioner was old, running on its last leg and consuming energy at an alarming rate. To take advantage of the tax rebates, get our monthly electric bills down out of the stratosphere and just generally be greener, we called on Cool World to install a new, more efficient air conditioning system. This consisted of the large outside unit (condenser) and interior air handler. They also cleaned out our ducts for no extra charge.

They arrived the next morning to install the new A/C as well as the air handler. The whole process was extremely clean, they did not leave a mess. And the price was right.
