I had an excellent experience with Allegiance Moving and Storage. They made the entire process seamless, starting with the first consultation and ending with the final delivery. Their group provided outstanding service at an affordable price. The movers were cordial, expert, and very careful with all I had. Everything came on schedule and in excellent shape when I relocated across the nation. Their continuous contact throughout the process was really appreciated and provided me with peace of mind. The business to consider is Allegiance Moving and Storage if you want a dependable and stress-free moving experience. I heartily endorse them!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TAKES ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY PEOPLE! They make promises they can’t deliver, don’t communicate all the fine details and hidden fees, and add last minute charges to the invoice when your back is against the wall and have no other options but to sign on the dotted line. They are only the middleman for the actual moving company, and don’t answer their phones when in need. My parents were closing on their home in Florida and having their belongings moved to Maine. They were told this moving company would be cheaper than renting a U-Haul and was quoted a very reasonable rate. Every conversation resulted in the quote rising little by little. On the day of the move with the truck in their driveway, the movers added another $1,417 to the already ridiculously high invoice and forced my parents to sign the agreement as they had no other option/backup plan and needed to vacate the property for the closing of their home. My parents are retired and on a very fixed income. My dad is undergoing Chemo and constantly sick, weak, and drained. My mom, while trying to hold things together, was devasted to see the final bill which was almost 6 thousand dollars when everything was all said and done. After multiple phone conversations with several staff members to include the customer service manager, Shannon, the only compensation they offered was a $300 reimbursement. After promising the refund, it took multiple weeks and numerous phone calls to get them to pay. DON’T USE THEM!

Be aware they are only moving brokers and they hire carriers who are guys with a truck! Dirty trucks and un professional. they take a deposit and then before the move take more money. Then they are done. The carrier comes and demands more cash at pick up and drop off. CASH only. The carrier they hired for my move damaged all my solid wood furniture and sleep number bed and put a hole in the side of my couch which was brand new.

The worst ever movers, never use them. They give you a low price quote first and then 2 days before the move they increase is by 50% and they tell you either pay or lose your deposit and no refund. Never ever talk to them

TL;DR: - Allegiance Movers LLC (Broker) and iMovers LLC (Mover) - No option for an in person estimate - At time of booking and first payment provided name of assigned moving company. Less than a week before our move date changed to a different moving company with negative online reviews - Hasty, unprofessional packing including lack of packing materials used (bubble wrap, tv boxes, frame boxes, etc) resulting in damaged items - Delivery date delayed twice, with poor communication - Movers arrived late on pick-up, caused an accident with their truck leading to further delays - Delivery outside agreed timeframe, resulting in cancelled meetings - Unfinished move: left items in driveway & unassembled - Lack of response to follow-up attempts In conclusion, this moving company demonstrated a clear lack of respect for their clients. Their practices were deceptive, their services unprofessional, and their communication subpar.

Was charged way more than what I was quoted despite packing less than what I was originally quoted. Customer service has been awful. I have basically had to do this job for them. If I didn't take time out of my day to follow up with customer service, they would probably just sweep this under the rug and not reach back out to me. I would strongly suggest you use literally any other moving company and not this one.

Do not use this company! When we used Bekins to move from AZ to NY, they sent a professional to our home who knew how to make an accurate estimate. The movers showed up in an 18-wheeler, and they inventoried every item loaded on the truck. They showed up in NY and spent the entire day at our home unloading and helping to set up all the furniture. The cost of the move didn't change. 7k for professional movers to haul from one side of the country to the other. Why I didn't go back to them, I can't explain, but I truly regret it. For some reason, I started over and found Allegiance Moving and Storage. After all, all I had to do was go online and google top rated movers. They showed up every time. The main problem is that they don't send anyone to your home. The reliability factor is the person who isn't a mover, lives in all the "stuff," (aka, the owner) and then has to translate it to someone who can't see what you're talking about. He then types it all into a computer to do calculations. My initial cost over the phone, after I translated our belongings, was 5k. After a lot of packing, our second consultation went up to 9k. (This was one week ahead of the move, so I couldn't cancel.) After the movers showed up 26 hours late, it went up to 11k. I have crushed boxes that have the word, 'fragile' clearly written on them. I had to throw two broken items that originally belonged to my grandmother. They were also in a box marked fragile. (Isn't the word, "fragile" an indication you don't want things stacked on it?) My antique lamp cost 200.00 to replace the parts stolen off of it. My grandmother's antique chair that is decades old, is MIA, as is our two wheeler. The chair was one of three items the movers tried to leave in my garage in NY. We had to call them back to pick them up. The other two items are here. The chair that goes with my Grandmother's bedroom set didn't. It probably looks like junk to these folks because it's broken. I had planned to get it restored while we were here. I have an email to the company letting them know I want it here, but as is the pattern of treatment we have been experiencing, there is still no answer. The worst part of the entire experience wasn't the late movers. It was the lack of communication from the company. The ONLY time we heard from them was when a dollar bill was involved. Michael, the representative providing quotes and taking my money, disappeared into thin air after taking my second payment. This also happened to the second quote he provided to me. Customer Service had no interest in letting us know why we had no movers at the allotted time. They had no interest in keeping us in the loop when they had information they could have shared. They told us 6 AM and then didn't bother to call when they knew better. I guarantee we have 20-30 unanswered messages from the day of the proposed move. We learned the hard way that the 24/7 notice on the website means they have an answering service taking messages that don't get returned. We had to do a final walkthrough with our buyers around all of our boxes. The closing for the sale of the house was at 1:00. The movers showed up hours afterward, keeping us in a house we didn’t own until 10:00 that night. We had to pay a hotel fee of 300.00 for the out of state folks who thought they were moving into their new home that day. We also had hotel fees for ourselves. We have 5k in escrow money that was held back because of our movers that still hasn't been returned. May 26th was a very long and scary day. I honestly thought we’d been scammed out of a lot of money and spent a good deal of time trying to create a backup plan to move our home from NY to TX by ourselves. I am grateful the majority of our things made it and are whole. I'm also grateful it was so fast. The movers on both ends of the country were very hard and efficient workers. The movers in NY killed it with the furniture and the way they wrapped it all up to keep it from being damaged, although, I fear they didn’t mark those three items before putting them in the truck, which is why my Grandmother’s antique, irreplaceable chair is missing. DO NOT USE ALLEGIANCE MOVING AND STORAGE. They are brokers, not movers. They contract the movers, who then move your stuff from truck to truck (without telling you this is going to happen) as it progresses through the country. Bekins used the same truck/driver on both sides. I would recommend Bekins in a heartbeat. They are your ticket to a more organized and less stressful experience. I regret it that I didn't call them. I have paid my bill because that's what someone with integrity does. I currently wait to hear back from them with news regarding the chair and the two-wheeler.

Would NOT recommend Allegiance moving company or any of their services. First, they are a broker company, something that was never mentioned to me the process. They do not actually perform the move but use another moving company, therefore making communication very difficult. When I had difficulties with the move, arrival, and drop-off Allegiance would simply blame the moving company and would tell me "That is your problem, not mine". Working with Zack was horrible. After he made the original sale, I have never been able to get ahold of him. He has ignored my calls and emails for almost 3 weeks. Additionally, the customer service and communication with the dispatch managers have been seriously flawed. The customer service line, if they answer, is rude and quick to blame the customer or some other party rather than speak kindly and help arrive at a solution. I was promised my things would arrive in 7 days, to find out later that it would take nearly 3 weeks. Finally, Avi Amrani, the drop-off dispatch manager was horrible to work with. He was unkind, brash, and blatantly disrespectful. When I called to bring up concerns about the mud/clay/floor damage the movers had conducted during drop off he told me, "That is not my problem, that is yours." When I brought up the piles of trash/cardboard left in my apartment he said, "You can pick up the trash." He was rude and only wanted to receive the money, then was quickly unavailable. Overall, between the pick-up and drop-off, my experience with Allegiance has been extremely disappointing and I would strongly NOT recommend them to anyone.

Terrible. Do Not use. They do not do what they are paid to do and what they state they do. They are fraudulent. They have 164 complaints in 2022 on fmcsa.dot.gov. They do not get you competitive prices they do not keep you updated on pickup/delivery date, do not act as consumer advocate. They hang up phone if they answer at all.

Using Allegiance was the worst decision I have every made. I checked reviews. Had them come to my home to see the contents that would be moved. And felt the people I dealt with were honest and professional. Until moving day! The person that was suppose to oversee the move did not come. I was promised 3 to 4 workers, and the driver and 2 workers came. The 2 workers were very good and extremely careful with our things. The driver was respectful too, however, he was not expected to do a lot of the moving because he was driving to Georgia. The move was expected to take 3 to 4 hours, but took over 8. But that wasn't the big problem. The office started calling to tell me the move would cost a lot more. They said there was more items than was on the agreement. I asked what was different??? They wouldn't tell me, so I looked at the agreement. A small 30 in tv was not included. Along with 2 chairs. I also saw that they did include a king mattress and box spring that we had told them we were not taking. So they actually had more stuff than we took. The office, Anthony & Will, got very nasty. They said that they don't like games and that I was trying to pull something over on them! They got all my stuff on the truck and said the charge would be $8400 vs. $3400! I told them to keep my stuff!!! It wasn't worth it to me. For 3 days they sent me texts threatening and arguing. My husband spoke to Will and said that we wanted to go to arbitration. At one point Will said, "You just closed on your house...you should have the money to pay!" It was appalling. Constant threats and slick conversations. I had no idea people can be so ugly. After 3 days we met the driver at the bank to give the balance in cash so he can deposit the funds. I wanted to do cashier check, however, Will continued to threaten. I asked the driver to look in my eyes and promise me he'll see that our contents get into storage safely. He gave me his wallet and a ring he cherished, and promised. It was unfortunate that this is how things went down. The good news is that the driver and workers in Georgia were excellent. The BAD News is that we paid $6600 as opposed to $3400 that was quoted. Also, the experience with Will and Anthony was horrific. My advice to YOU is Never Ever use Allegiance unless you want to work with people that are the lowest of the low.

AVOID USING THIS COMPANY!! ONE STAR YELP REVIEW. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Case number: 90658939. Full text of the complaint is below. I contacted Allegiance based on their supposed highly rated customer service. My experience and the experience of many other customers was horrible (Please see reviews on Yelp. All reviews are two stars or less). Brent, the person that I worked with to get a quote, was intentionally misleading so that he could give me a lower quote. We discussed square footage of the apartment, the number of large furniture items that would be moved, estimated number of boxes we were expecting. I indicated to him that I thought we would have 30-50 boxes, at least. He insisted that based on his experience and based on the size of the apartment that we would probably only have 20 boxes. I disagreed but deferred to his judgement. I asked if there would be an up-charge if we went over the estimated 20 boxes. He indicated that no, I would not be charged extra. I also made it very clear to Brent that this would be a "spit pick-up". In other words, we had belongings at our apartment and at an off-site storage unit. The estimate from Allegiance (see attached) came in at just over $3400. Allegiance contracted the job to NewStart movers. I was told that the movers would contact me 24-48 hours in advance of the move to give me an estimated arrival. That never happened. On the day of the move, the estimated arrival time kept being pushed out. The driver could not give me an accurate arrival time. According the driver they were diverted to another residence before ours because that client insisted they had to be somewhere for an appointment. Long story short, the movers from NewStart did not arrive until almost 8:00 PM on September 8. Upon their arrival, I told the movers we needed to hurry because we had to be to the storage unit by 9:30 PM because it closed at 10:00. The two movers from NewStart indicated that they were not aware that we'd scheduled a "split pick-up" and indicated that there would be an up-charge for it. They also indicated that they were not aware that we had large items to move such as a TV, queen size mattress and TV console. I had to pay an additional $860 cash to the movers on September 8 and have paid $370 in storage fees to NewStart. Due to their late arrival, we could not get to the storage unit. We had to incur additional expense to get the belongings in the storage unit transported from San Francisco to California. Additional expenses included flights to and from Seattle, paying an additional two months storage fees, contracting with Pods to pick up, store and deliver our belongings. See attached receipts. When I contacted Allegiance to express my frustration and request at least a partial refund, they were completely unsympathetic. They offered no apology and refused to refund any money. Their web page touts a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee". In their email dated August 9 with the subject "Allegiance Moving Reviews" it states: "We take our customer feedback seriously at Allegiance Moving and Storage! It is our top priority to provide quality household and corporate moving services; but we also take the time to make sure our customers are satisfied with our services from start to finish." In an email dated September 6, 2021 with the subject "Allegiance Customer Verification" it states in part; "Moving forward, the customer service team will be your direct point of contact. Please refer any questions, comments, or concerns directly to us. Our role is to be a liaison between yourself and the moving company to ensure that your move goes as smoothly as possible. We will serve as your advocate." I was not at all satisfied with their service. Customer satisfaction is NOT a priority and Allegiance most definitely did not act as my advocate. As you navigate their website it frequently refers to the great services they provide, all of which is completely false. Allegiance Moving and Storage I've sent them multiple requests to send me an itemized receipt, detailing what exactly the $1701 paid to them was for. My requests for that receipt have been ignored. See table below for summary of expenses incurred so far and estimated future expenses: Organization Dollar amount Allegiance Moving and Storage 1701 New Start 860 New Start Storage 370 New Start Estimated Due at delivery* 3654 Pods Invoice 1 1574 Pods Invoice 2 802 Total $8961** *I'm now being told by new start that my total due upon delivery will be over $5000. **Allegiance's Total Moving Estimate came in at $3424 which means they underestimated my total expenses by a minimum of $5537. In summary, Allegiance is intentionally misleading potential customers and intentionally providing inaccurate and intentionally low estimates to gain business. Therefore, Allegiance is committing fraud. For most people moving from one state to another or across the country, is a rare occurrence. Consumers need to be confident that moving companies are acting with integrity and serving as consumer advocates. Allegiance is taking advantage of people's vulnerability during an already incredibly stressful time. Thank you for taking the time to review my complaint. Please go to Yelp and read other customer reviews of Allegiance. There is clearly a pattern of deceit and fraudulent business practices.
