Outstanding service! The contractor, John, came on time (which was a day earlier than originally quoted - they called to make sure it would be okay today!) and did a clean and professional job from start to finish. The last outlet that had been installed in this garage was all "internal", through a steel pipe from another outlet. This time, John snaked the cabling through the wall and the ceiling, spending a lot of time up in the "attic" area above the garage so that the installation was neat and clean. He helped move the refrigerator into place and removed the ice maker for us to provide more freezer space. He cleaned up when he was finished. These are great electricians and I would recommend them unhesitatingly!

These guys are great! Based on the positive reviews, I decided to give these guys a call. We talked on the phone for a bit and went over a few things. He gave me some of the pro's and con's of some of the work that needed to be done. He said he was going to have to cut my dry wall to install the wires on an exterior door. I was a little apprehensive of how big the wholes where going to be. He arrived on time the next day and greated my wife with a smile. He looked over everything and explained to my wife exactly what he was going to do. After everything was installed, I came home to find an amazing job! There was minimal damage to the walls, that I later fixed that night. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that's looking for an honest reliable company.

I called electrician around 9 am, and the owner Terry answered the phone. I explained how the motion light had been on all night, and that it was important to me for it to be at least turned off. Terry said he had some time in the morning, and came right over. He gave me options as to how to correct the problem, and then he fixed it. At low cost, and effectively. He had all the parts necessary. I was so pleased with the QUICK RESPONSE, PROBLEM FIXED AND REASONABLE PRICE, that I did not request one of the offered discounts. I have used AES in the past, and will use them again. AES IS THE BEST OF THE BEST IN ELECTRICIANS. A CREDIT TO ANGIES LIST, I RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT RESERVATION.

Jon arrived on time, quickly assessed the situation and determined the only wiring that had to be replaced was from the outside breaker box and the hot tub. His honest assessment saved me hundreds of dollars. All work and clean up was performed in about 3 hours which I thought was good.

I called twice to see if they could come out. I called twice and they have never returned my call. In my opinion that is unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Terry (owner) and his staff were very professional and accommodating to my electrical needs during my home's renovation. They were very considerate with electrical permitting inspection schedule (and filing of) and my own personal schedule. I'm completely amazed at the level of service and promptness they provide. If there was a higher rating than an "A" I would definitely and proudly give them it. Their pricing was very reasonable and the discount for being an "Angie's list customer was automatically given and very much appreciated. I have to mention that for a lady taking on a reno job...they were the ideal electricians! they explained their process so I could accommodate other work being done (by subcontractors) and plan accordingly...a huge plus! Ok, let's just say I had some crazy wiring going on in my home which was performed by the previous owner. I explained the situation to Terry ahd he recommended Josh for the task. Josh was the perfect choice because he was able to go in and systematically deduce how everything was connected and then rewired them correctly. He corrected a number of switch/lighting issues, but the biggest challenge was getting everything to work with my new AFCI(Arc Fault Current Interrupt) breakers which he also resovled despite how complex the problem was. Josh was excellent and I have to thank Terry too for picking the right guy for the job! I thought that the price fair/competive and you definitely get your money's worth for the quality of work they provide. I highly recommend AES and will not hesitate to recommend them to others. I will definitely be using them for my future electrical needs!

Josh called ahead and was punctual. Showed great ingenuity with two of the issues. Couldn't be more pleased. And to top it off, Josh is a pleasant and personable individual. Will recommend them to others without hesitation.

I was very satisfied with AES Lighting and Electrical from start to finish. During my initial call to Terry, he explained their fee policy and gave me an idea of what to expect. An electrician, Josh, came out the very next day to perform the work. Josh was extremely personable and confirmed what I wanted done and the got right to work. My wife's hair dryer had always caused the breaker to trip on our 15 amp circuit so Josh put a 20 amp outlet and wired it back to the panel. Also, he installed a ceiling shower light in our new shower and changed an old almond GFI outlet to a new white one. He completed the entire job in an efficient manner for a very reasonable price. I will definitely use AES for my future electrical needs! k to

Our hot water tank suddenly stopped working a short time after we realized the door bell stopped working along with the smoke detectors. We called and they arranged to come out 2 days later. The completed required 2 hours of labor plus a part which was installed. The technician was prompt and courteous. I would use again and recommend to others.

I called AES because my mom and I liked their reviews. I spoke to Mr. Stuart and told him that the lights in the house were flickering for the past few weeks, several times a day, and it was getting worse. The flickering occurred when the microwave was on. It was so bad that even the tv picture jumped around every time the microwave was on. It was unnerving. Mr. Stuart said he would call me back and let me know how soon an electrician could come out to attend to the problem. A few hours later he called to say that he would send someone first thing in the morning. The next morning I got a call from Josh saying he was on his way, and he showed up shortly afterwards. Josh was clean, courteous, and very personable. He got to work right away inspecting all the electrical circuits and power sources and he explained everything he did in language that we could understand. He answered all of our questions and calmed our fears about why the electricity was acting crazy. He tested the microwave and saw the flickering lights. When he found that the microwave was on the wrong breaker, it all made sense. He said that he would install a breaker just for the microwave, but due to time constraints, he would have to come back and do that the next day. We asked Josh to take a look at some outlets and switches that needed to be replaced. He said he had time to do that, but he would have to purchase some parts. He made a list and went to Home Depot. Josh returned in a timely manner and replaced the items. Before Josh left, he assured us that we could safely live with the flickering lights for one more night, and that the power was all in good working order. He said he would be back first thing the next morning. The next morning, Josh called to say he was on his way, and shortly afterwards he showed up with his co-worker, Tony. Tony was an equally pleasant guy, and he and Josh got to work right away installing the breaker for the microwave. Josh worked in the kitchen, and Tony worked in the attic. When their work was finished, Josh tested the microwave, and the lights and the tv did not flicker. (Since Josh fixed the problem, we have noticed that when using the microwave, food gets hotter more quickly, and the microwave does not make strange noises any more. We thought the noise was normal, so we never complained about it!) Josh then re-capped the work that was done and reassured us that all of the electrical circuits and power sources were now safely up to date. We felt very relieved. My mom and I had a very good experience with this company. We marked the price as fair because we don't have any idea what the costs should be and shouldn't be. We did not call any other companies to compare prices. We liked this company's reviews and that was good enough for us. Based on our positive experience, we will certainly call them in the future without hesitation if the need arises, and we will definitely ask for Josh and Tony! Many thanks to them and Mr. Stuart!! We nominate this company for a page of happiness!

Alberto arrived on-time. He immediately began troubleshooting of the switches, fixtures that were not working. He took down fan/light combinations that were not working. He rewired and replaced lights where needed. He completed the repairs and gave recommendations for "next steps" regarding electrical work he could not complete this visit. We will definitely have him return to complete the work. Alberto used his time here very efficiently. He worked consistently, without complaint moving from room to room solving the electric issues we wanted addressed.

Roberto was wonderful. He did an excellent job. He changed out 2 fans with light kits, had to add light kit to existing fan, changed out 3 light fixtures, and changed out 2 bathroom light fixtures. The bathroom lights were held on the mirror for 17 years.with silicone. Neither of the bathroom mirrors broke or got scratched. He was so professional and careful. I would definitely use him again.

This company was the ONLY company that was able to get to me in any reasonable amount of time. Not only that, but they were in and out with the job done within an hour, at 1/3 the price quoted by other companies. They were the first people I've seen that actually TESTED their work before they left. I've got quite a bit of work that needs done on this house, and so long as they continue this level of service, they will get every bit of it. Highly Recommend

Roberto couldn't have been nicer, really. Excellent service and very knowledgeable. Soft spoken and very polite. Everything looks fantastic, and he was very efficient and on time. I would HIGHLY recommend that you use them. Also they were not booked out too far in advance, and I was able to book in a short period of time. could not has for more from an electrician.
