AAA PRO SCREENING

After the job I had to repaint portions of the porch wall that the pressure washer had removed paint. An employees truck left oil spots in my driveway. I graded the cost down because I was charged $150 extra to remove and install 25 screws. This was added on after the proposal. At the time of the proposal I was told "$2040.00 was a cash price" I assumed this meant by paying cash, his company was paying the tax. I was wrong. Knowing I was upset the owner installed a new door closer kit for free. I was assuming mine would be reinstalled. ""

Very professional, will definitely use again!

I have a nearly 30 year old screen that in general is in good condition, however, the **** 4" gutters they installed on these things years ago are a joke. They are only effective at getting clogged and then subsequently overflowing, thus causing me significant frustration. I've had Ivan come and replace a few screens over the years and finally after being completely fed up with the nonsense gutters I asked for Ivan to give me a quote on replacing them with 7" super gutters. Ivan provided me a fair price considering the amount of work required. Remove the old gutters, stilt the structure, cut the support beams to fit the new gutter, etc... What truly separates Ivan is that not only is he extremely thorough in his explanation of what he will be doing, he actually is thorough when he does the work. He DOES NOT cut corners and really makes sure everything is perfectly installed. He even fixed the **** door that was always sticky and wouldn't close easily, had to slam it shut (Thanks Ivan). On top of all of this, Ivan is amazingly responsive. I had some other work that was pending until he finished his work and he kept me informed even as the rain made things difficult for them to finish. Of the contractors I've worked with repairing my home in the past, I truly wish they were all like Ivan.

I was not personally available to discuss the estimate and this gentleman was very rude to my family and refused to provide the service that he came to do. He then followed it up with extremely unpleasant text messages for no apparent reason. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day, but I gave him no reason to act such an unprofessional manner. I would not recommend this company or their service, there are waaaay too many alternatives in the market than have to deal with this level contempt.

After seeing good reviews in Angie's List, I called AAA Pro Screening and explained my situation. Once they realized this was for insurance purposes, the person at the other end of the phone told me that he was not interested because "Insurance companies are looking for the lowest price and most companies that bid that low are not performing at the same level as his company." He stated his company does not work that way, only performing excellent work and his prices would not be competitive. He did not even want to come out to look. We ended the phone call. They were courteous and, obviously, forthcoming. I was thinking about trying to talk him into coming out but I was not sure I wanted to convince someone to come look at a job that they really did not want in the first place. I selected "Hire Again" above because I had to make a selection and if he wanted to come out and look, I would appreciate it. But please realize as of this writing, that I did not hire this company.

Ivan started the project ahead of the estimated date. He was on time, polite and cleaned up after the job. The framing and screening was completed on property. It was not prefabbed, it was manufactured and installed on site. The finished porch is AWESOME!

It took a long time to get him here, he was very busy, but worth the wait!

He provided a date when he could start the job, called prior to coming, and did not change the amount of his quote. His workmanship was excellent, and he cleaned up the patio area after the work was completed. His quotes less than other screen companies, as he only suggested work that was necessary.

Failed to show numerous times. Rescheduled numerous times. Failed to show, rescheduled. When he finally showed he attempted to HARD close me. I'm the senior Vice President of Sales for a top 5 pharmaceutical company. I know sales, he failed to demonstrate core competencies, and his lack of punctuality caused me several days of missed worked.

The job went very well. I am completely satisfied.

AAA Pro Screening was an excellent choice for my pool screen enclosure repair! Ivan answered the phone himself and was on site within 20 minutes to assess the damage and provide a quote. After obtaining several other quotes from other service companies, Ivan's was the most competitive. He was punctual, professional, and great attention to detail. My screen enclosure was repaired within days and the quality of work was excellent. Could not be more pleased with the outcome. I would hire him again and highly recommend his services.

NO SHOW...NO CALL ..NO NOTHING !!! This guy made me stay home ALL DAY telling me if I didn't meet him when called he would skip me... RUDE and NASTY......then after wasting my whole day not even a courtesy call.. I would never hire them....NEVER This is exactly what Angie's List is supposed to eliminate...BULL ! Ivan owner of this company performed the work himself with the help of a painter and helper. Ivan did an amazing job. Ivan's work was meticulous and he made sure that not only our screens were repaired but repaired our gutters. He also power washed all our metal and painted all the metal with a special paint to prevent brown mold. He repaired and replaced 16 feet of rotted facia board and roof tiles. Ivan did our repair as if it was his own house. Simply the best repair work I have ever had done on our home!

Ivan, the Owner, does an excellent job. He asked for a very little deposit and made sure we were delighted with the final product. He and a helper do all the work. His product and clean up are excellent. I would use him again. I've already recommended him to my Community.

The work was done very well. We are quite pleased with the job.

It surpassed my expectations. The old screens and aluminum frames were a mess because of work that a friend had done installing columns and a half wall.. I called AAA Pro at 5 pm and the owner, Ivan, came out that evening and gave me a quote. They started work the next day and finished the day after that. Here are the reasons that I rated them "A" on everything:: prompt response on the quote and on getting the job done, the aluminum frames look perfect even though my wood porch is not perfectly aligned, the screening is exceptionally tight, Ivan and his assistant did all the work rather than sending out an inexperienced person, they were very detailed and organized in the cutting and installing, they used a high quality white caulk that Ivan told me wouldn't get black (I bought some after they left for other exterior caulk jobs and it costs three times what regular caulk costs, so I appreciate that they didn't skimp), they fixed my screen door locks to make them work better (not part of the job), Ivan was very pleasant, certainly knows this business well, believes in doing the job right, and they cleaned up everything before they left. I had gotten another quote before I called AAA Pro and did not have a good experience with the other company. The quote was similar but they said that it would not be possible to do the framing the way I wanted, and the way AAA Pro did it.

Excellent. Took only a very small deposit. Showed up WHEN PROMISED, which is so un-Florida. He takes great pride in his work being absolutely perfect.

Ivan is unique with his attention to detail. He had to work around a roof job that took much longer than expected. The super gutter was replaced and designed to move all the water from the rear roof's L shaped collection to one downspout. This had to be designed with minimum tolerances for error or "eyeballing" estimates. The ~40ft super gutter is operating perfectly and looks terrific. The grade used for water removal was done perfectly. The work was done very cleaning with appropriate lag bolts and sealants to provide a lifetime of service. The re-screening was done very cleanly with the screens pulled very tight to provide clear visibility to the backyard. Again, Ivan has a good eye for detail and no rework was required. Ivan reinforced the screen enclosure with new bolts all around. I highly recommend Ivan. Although, he is not he cheapest option he provides quality and consistency across the board. He does what he says he will do. I watched him work for a bit and appreciate his measure "5 times cut once" method. You will get what you pay for with Ivan.

The owner of this company came himself and talked with us for over an hour to discuss what needed to be done. He then measured and gave us an estimate right then. It was so nice to not have to wait a few days for an estimate to be emailed. This is a very conscience, knowledgeable, and responsible business owner. He explained that we had a very strong screen enclosure and exactly what needed to done to fix all the damage. He actually made the screen better and stronger at a lesser cost than the other company agreed to do. He does all the work himself with a helper and we couldn't possibly be any happier. I strongly recommend this company. I

When Alan came for the estimate he inspected the enclosure meticulously and gave a detailed overview of the work that needed to be done. He suggested not to replace all screens, even though I asked him to do so, because it was unnecessary. One other company I asked for estimate suggested to replace all screens and didn't want to be bothered with which ones needed to be replaced. The 3rd estimate was also less detailed and the guy didn't really listen to my questions. Alan and 2 helpers worked one full day and he and 1 helper came back the 2nd day for about 3 hours. Alan inspects everything himself to ensure all the work is done perfectly.

CAUTION! He poured the slab on or about June 15, 2016 and left for Peru on June 20, 2016. I have not seen him since. The wooden frames are still surrounding the slab, and I had to pay someone else again to assemble and install the grill gazebo. I left a voice mail at the beginning of July asking when he would come back and finish the job, but have received no response. This leads me to question if he is even still in business. Prior to the unfortunate above experience, Mr. Alarcon had expanded my patio and screened it in, as well as screening in my upstairs balcony. That was approximately $17,000. I was satisfied with that portion of his work. I think a partial refund is in order for the unfinished work that I paid in advance for. (NOTE: Never pay in full up front before work is completed)!
