PACK RAT MINI STORAGE INC

Description of Work: I was moving from Crystal Beach, FL to Quincy, MA. I contacted Pack Rat via telephone and received the quote via email. Once I booked the unit, I was assigned a move coordinator, Marda. She was wonderful! The unit was delivered and then picked up on the dates I requested. I was contacted a couple of days after the unit was picked up (on a Saturday) and told that the door had popped open and that they were going cut the lock and replace it with another. The gentleman that contacted me did not have any details other than the door opened and made me feel as though I had not properly locked the unit, which is impossible because of the way the doors are set up. I fretted all weekend because it was pouring rain when it was picked up and I just pictured all of my belonging getting soaked while driving down the highway to the storage facility. Marda got back to me on Monday afternoon regarding the situation. A gentleman from the Tampa facility where my unit was called me to tell me that the unit racked when they were moving it inside the Tampa facility, sent me a photo of the inside, which was fine and mailed me the keys to the new lock. The only issue I had was that I could not find the phone number to the Foxboro, MA facility where my unit was delivered. I did get it from Marda because I wanted to confirm that the unit would fit in my drive as I live on a narrow but busy street and delivery might be complicated. She gave me the number but each time I tried to contact that facility I received voice mail and my calls were never returned. The delivery driver did contact me about an hour before delivery and assured me that he could be able to drop it off.

Description of Work: They transported my belongings in a storage container to my new home.

Description of Work: The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Murphy went beyond my expectations of service. I live in Illinois and my storage Unit is in Florida, anytime I needed anything all I needed to do was call and they would take care of any request that I had. When the movers came to pick up my belongings they stood by and made sure my items were taken care of.
