+ -1 moreThis company is wonderful at making promises but they don't deliver, in fact they disapeared. Don't contract THE BAD ROOFING COMPANY!!!!!! Unreliable.
Description of Work: I contacted this company to re-roof my shingled type roof after hurricane Wilma. The contract was signed in March of 2006. I paid a deposit of 1800.00 to start the roof. They began work in May 2006. At this point, I thought everything was progressing fine. They stripped the roof and put down tar paper and a portion of the shingles. They said they would return to replace some bad wood and finish the job. Here's where I made a mistake, they asked for 1800.00 more to purchase additional wood and to finish the job. The first inspection failed. I haven't seen them since, and this is Sept 20, 2006.

Description of Work: I have been fighting for five months to get each step of the new roof done. I still have only tar paper on the roof and am waiting for re-inspection because the first one failed. The roof leaked worse after they put the new tar paper on than it did with the damaged roof of old shingles. My insurance company can't get them to give State Farm the necessary information they need. In the production department no one answers the phone and no one returns calls left with the switchboard. The only person who responds to me is the sales rep, Ileana, and they ignore her too. She is not in the office and I have her personal cell phone number.

+ -1 moreHorrible. Sales rep was the picture of politeness - but after i signed the contract it was a different story. One lie after another on delays - I had to contact the county to get the real story.
Description of Work: Company contracted for metal roof to replace tile. Never pulled permit, never began work. Metal roof which was sold was not approved for Miami-Dade County (hence the difficulty in getting permit). Company refuses to return $15,000 deposit.

Description of Work: We contracted to replace shingle roof. Gave down payment back in May. Old shingles were taken off. Nothing else has been done for over 2 months.

+ -1 moreWe found out that they didn't pull the permit for the job. They said they were waiting for product approval from their suppliers. They said they like to send in the approval from the supplier with the application for the permit, which is not required. I paid a deposit and signed the contact yet they never pulled the permit or start the job. We have sent a 10 day letter either telling them to pull the permit and start the job or refund our deposit. The 10 days have came and went and we have not heard from them. We did found out that they have now applied for a permit but we had still not heard from them so we told the permit dept. To cancel the permit. We have now hired a new company.
Description of Work: We hired them to replace our roof.
