Paver King

Rick friend the owner of paver king was reliable and accessible at all times. His workers did great workmanship. He was there from start to finish . I would recommend him to anyone. Great job Rick and your entire team.

They were horrible. Basically they came out to do a concrete overlay on top of existing concrete and the concrete they put down did not adhere correctly to the concrete underneath it and so it started chipping up and there were couple places that started coming up within a couple of weeks. They were to come out and fix it and it took them 2 months to come out, and by then we started noticing cracks all through our paved area that was our deck area. So that entire area that they paved needed to be redone and they didn't do anything about it.

Rick Friend, the owner, met with us after we admired Paver King's installation of a Flagstone paver driveway and walkway in a neighbor's yard. The work was done in 2 days and our neighbor highly recommended him. We called and spoke to him by phone and met with Rick. He was very prompt and brought paver samples (no small task) and a book of photos of various installations he had done (several dozen in the past year). He only works with the Flagstone paver company, who guarantees their pavers for 25 years. He guarantees the construction for 1 year. The estimate was a bit less than our on-line research had indicated, so we were pleasantly surprised. We were only intending to install a 1400 SF paver driveway, but the quote allowed us to use pavers for our walk as well. Rick also recommended using upright pavers along a flowerbed to prevent mulch from washing into the driveway, which had been a problem. There was no extra labor charge for this, and also no extra charge if we wanted patterns or designs made with pavers. We paid 50% upfront deposit. Rick took care of getting all permits & utility marking. He is insured for property damage. He was present at the site when all the sub-contractors were working. His workers were very pleasant and made sure we knew the progress of the project. After completion of the driveway, he walked us through an inspection. We paid the balance. He returned twice in the next few days to followup. There were no problems with damage to our property or the city inspection. I would gladly use Paver King again, and highly recommend this company.
