Kelly Shah is fantastic, she really cares about meeting the needs of her clients and works diligently to stay within budget. She has provided an array of design suggestions for me and for many of my friends and colleagues. Everyone who I have ever referred her to compliments her design sense and her deep caring for helping her clients meet the goals of their projects. She has assisted in decorating my new home and her work speaks for itself; anyone who visits my home compliments the decorating almost immediately. We have a causal but sophisticated style and she honors our style while pointing us toward design, furniture and accessory suggestions that make it feel unique to our family. You will be so pleased with Kelly Shah's friendly and expert interior design advice.

Kelly Shah was simply awesome. I know I would not have made it through the renovation process without her help, guidance and handholding. I initially got Kelly's name from my neighbors across the street who were also renovating their bathroom. From the minute I called her to setup an appointment I was hooked. She was engaging and quite easy to talk to. When Kelly first came to met me at the house she took everything in. She asked a lot of questions and tried to get a full understanding of my interest. I initially contacted Kelly to shop for the fixtures and other materials needed for the bathroom renovation. She immediately made contact with the general contractor and the building designer who drew up the plans for the renovation. She studied the plans until she basically understood it like the back of her hands. After day one of the renovations I knew I did not have the patience, fortitude nor the time to deal with the oversight needed for this project so I asked her to be the liaison between me and the contractor. She basically oversaw the entire project. I gave Kelly a simple excel spreadsheet with my budget which she broke down into a very refine detailed estimate for all of the work that would be done on the project. She would email me the budget and we would go through it together on the phone and she would update it with actual numbers after the various purchases. We texted, emailed, had face to face conferences, met with vendors, etc. She took this project on as though it were her own renovation being done and she worked it. I never saw anything like this. When she went on vacation outside of the country, my husband and I decided to halt the project until she returned. However, although she was gone she continued to manage the project without missing a beat from abroad. Kelly thoroughly went above and beyond in her service to me. If we came up against a problem she figured out a way to resolve it. Some things she resolved without me even knowing we had a problem. She has an excellent eye for design and I could not be more pleased with the way my bathroom turned out. I think her fees were more than reasonable. I know there were times she did not charge for her services. I know if I had not utilized her services I would have spent much more for what I purchased for she really guided me through this entire process. I definitely recouped her fees in the savings on some of the purchases she guided me on. If there is one thing I would give her a B- rating on is her timeliness in submitting her invoicing. Outside of that she was A+ on everything else. After this experience with Kelly Shah Design, LLC, I would recommend anyone doing a major renovation should budget for the service of an interior designer if for nothing else to be your voice with the general contractor and other vendors you may encounter during your project.
