+ -1 moreWhile I am satisfied with the end product, the time frame was much longer than I expected. Worse, his bid was too low and he could not complete the job without many cost overruns which became my financial burden. Imagine getting legal notices that your home is being foreclosed upon because he did not pay suppliers. What should have been an exciting and happy thing turned into a Nightmare to say the least. This is stil not resolved almost three years later. Always , always , always use a bank to ensure suppliers and subcontractors are being paid. Don't trust a builder with your cash.

Josh was prompt, detail oriented and was very professional. Everything went extremely smooth and when the project was complete we were thrilled with the finish product. All homeowners look for certain characteristics in their builder, these included quality, integrity, and professionalism and Josh Sparks exceeded all of our expectations in these areas. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to build or remodel.

+ -1 moreBottom line, he has passed the buck on getting the repairs done.
Description of Work: When the house was being built, everything was fine. Less than 5 years later, my roof is falling apart, all bedrooms with carpet needed stretching, cracks in concrete (non-settling), multiple plumbing leaks, etc... BEFORE YOU BUILD, make sure your builder's insurance policy covers construction defects. In Spark's Construction, his insurance doesn't cover workmanship defects. He was notified in Jan, 2011, it is now Feb, 2012 with no repairs. I have been told the roof needs a replace, but Josh wants to patch pieces. Update: April 2013 - Josh has made the repairs to my roof. While it took longer than i liked, he did stick to his word. Josh always did remain professional even though things did get heated. We still talk occassionally and he has been helpful in completing the necessary repairs. As a homeowner, you can get frustrated when things go wrong, but we did work through the issues. Thank you Josh.
