Epic A/C Service

Service tech was only interested in selling a new unit. He made all judgments based on a digital multimeter hung out for an hour or so then left stating there was nothing he could do for me and charged 159.00. He condemned the compressor when the problem was the outside compressor fan motor. I replaced it myself and unit works great.

Janet came out and gave me a guide for a 5 ton system, Trane, I checked with two other companies and they were not even close. Cody and his asst. Brandon came out and installed the unit today. When they opened the box, the compressor had dents in it. Janet sad they would not use that compressor and drove to Gainesville to pick up another one. So far this company and its employees are nice people. I would definitely hire them again.

Anthony and Brandon were excellent and very detailed. They arrived on time with a large trailer and backed it in for easy access. Good thing they had the trailer because the new a/c unit was larger than expected. Professional and quality work was done and I am happy with the results. They worked well as a team and cleaned up all the mess.

Janet came to assess our situation, our 15 year old A/C was dead, no heat, no cooling. She managed to get us a new unit and schedule the install within 2 days . Satisfied with the A/C installation. Technicians Robert and Cody were very knowledgeable and friendly, eager to please indeed.. we decided to add a mini split in the cottage, despite issues with an electrical problem, it was done in one day, thank you Cody for your hard work ! I highly recommend Epic, they take care of you.

Called today with what thought was the motor going out. Tech Matt came out and explained what that the blue tint in the discharge water was from the cooper tubing and everything was fine. Did not try to sell a part that was not needed + Same day service = definitely will call again!! The customer service was great, they were very professional and courteous. The technician that came out explain what the problem was, what our options are and patiently answered any questions we had. It did not take them long at all to have us back up and running. I will definitely be using them in the future and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing an AC or AC repair!

Excellent experience, contacted shortly after requesting information. Everything was explained and all my questions were answered. They were willing to work with me (I had received a new condenser as a gift from family) and install my unit while pairing it with a new air handler. Installation was done quickly (as soon as the ordered part was received) and was completed in less than a day. The installation team was very professional and courteous and made sure we were familiar with the new system (filter, etc.) before they left. I highly recommend Epic AC Service!

VERY unorganized, gave conflicting quotes/ prices... reneged on promised VETERANS discount. My service technician spent a lot of time texting and was not very friendly BUT responded quickly found problem.

Epic AC service! Kenny, Bryan, Mark, Sean, they all did great work installing our new system. I am so glad I chose them. The quality of work was great and there were a few set backs, but they made sure I was still comfortable in the delay. If you all read this I really do appreciate all of your hard work! Best AC company I could have called! Thank all of you guys so much!!

They arrived on time. Did the AC replacement in 1 day. Fixed the ole one so we would have heat until they could come next day to install new one. Everyone was professional and friendly.

Eric and just crew were and went above and beyond our expectations! We had gone with another ac company for my elderly mother-in-law and her fiancée. The other company lied, was deceiving and never came thru with what they promised. They gave a quote if 8700$ for a Carrier unit . That was very high. We called Epic to get another quote but in the mean time the other company called and dropped the price to 6750$. Same unit. Why ? Well cause it really wasnâ t the same unit it was a much cheaper unit but told us it was the same. They. Charged 278$ to look at old unit and when the bank refused it , because the sales guy put in the wrong address It was revealed the actual charge was 348$ ! Deceit . Even after we went with that company Epic states they are still interested in helping us. Well the other company fell thru and failed on bringing us the actual unit they told us we were supposed to get and that was that. We told them donâ t unload it just go away weâ re done with you guys. I called Epic and asked what they could do and Eric who is awesome had a crew and a better unit out within 3 hours installing it! They did an excellent job , even put in an extra return duct , new power box and pad and thermostat for 500$ less than the other company , who btw took 6 days to get a unit out. I canâ t say enough about how well they took care of these elderly folks that was clearly being taking advantage of by the other company. Highly recommend these guys and Iâ m setting up service contract with them to watch over my ac unit. Thank you again Eric and crew.

Awesome service. Purchased a "new to me" home that needed the 13 year old HVAC system removed and replaced, along with duct work insulation. They came out removed the old air handler so we could repair the closet. When we had the closet repaired, they were back out to fix the duct work and remove and replace the heat pump system. Brian and his helper were very professional and did an awesome job. Arrived on time. Cleaned up the job site. Just very nice, professional and personable. I will have them come back for all the preventive maintenance!
