 + -1 moreNeil and his company did a good job until clean up. The finishing of the job was a huge disappointment. The owner told us that how the project was left is standard for cleanup on Paradise projects. After the professionalism shown up to that point, we were very disappointed. I could not recommend this company. Please note: I never withheld payment or threatened the owner with anything but poor reviews. Job Done.

 + -1 moreUpdate: Paradise Pavers did not return to clean up concrete in our landscaping. The owner gave us an estimate and a sketch of the work to be done. The written estimate was fair and detailed in the layout of the project. Installation team arrived and worked diligently to put in the patio with a very nice look per Neil's (the owner) sketch. We are working with the owner to finish a couple of aspects of the job that we had issue with and will update as the results are completed.
Description of Work: Create a patio with pavers.

 + -1 moreI originally wrote a reasonable favorable review for Paradise - pending cleanup of our new patio that Neil (the owner) agreed to complete while we were out of the area. When we returned after 3 weeks, no cleanup had been completed. Please note: I paid the full bill as I'd agreed to do - hoping that the company that had done such a good job installing would return and finish cleanup. I was disappointed.

 + 0 moreThe job was done almost a year ago. When it was done, the crew unevenly sanded so I requested that it be evened out. They were also a bit sloppy applying the seal. However, it looked OK when done. Now a year later, there is a fair amount of mold that a power wash cannot remove and sand is pocketing throughout the driveway. Their representative came out and essentially blamed my request to apply additional sand at the time because mold grows in sand. Nobody cautioned me at the time and, frankly, I don't know if the additional sand is the problem. Considering I paid $2400, I certainly didn't expect the driveway to look so bad not quite a year later. Nor did I anticipate being blamed for the problem. I am very disappointed.

 + 1 moreThe pavers on the concrete patio are beautiful! The work is neat and and well laid. It looks so good that I had them come back out to create a 5' x 8' adjacent area for our grill. Unfortunately, this area looks unfinished. The ground had to be dug up and a base laid since there was not an existing concrete slab. The ground is sloping, but they did a good job of leveling the base. The problem is that there is 4" deep ledge of ground exposed where the addition ends. I expressed my dissatisfaction and they come back and place a strip of metal to hold the dirt/ground from falling on the drainage area. It is not pretty and does not look professional. I again expressed my disappointment, but nothing has been done. It is a shame that such a lovely project ends in a ledge of dirt. I rate the first project an 'A' and the second project a 'C'.
Description of Work: Paradise installed pavers over an existing concrete patio. I later had them install a small matching brick walk-out for a grill.

 + 0 moreI can't speak highly enough of the whole transaction from the initial visit and planning of the job to the execution. The crew was polite, efficient and very talented at what they do. They were communicative and met every promise they made.We had some weather during the job and they were pro-active in setting expectations of what could and couldn't be done due to inclement weather. We are very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended.

 + 0 moreA 2-man crew showed up promptly and laid out the project, soon to be followed by 6 additional workers who removed sod, leveled ground, installed, sealed and cleaned up!! These guys were fast and professional and I can recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: Paradise Pavers beautifully installed an approximately 10 x 16 paver patio in our backyard. Although it wasn't a large project all of the people associated with Paradise Pavers treated the job with respect. I must share, in no way Paradise Pavers fault, the paver company unloaded the pavers on my driveway. The crew manager and owner Neil were unhappy about this. After the paver project was finished they power washed my entire driveway to remove any debris and tire marks left by the paver delivery. We had also asked them to install a French drain to our downspout so the downspout did not directly empty onto the patio. Neil was very accommodating with this and at a very fair price. Also, Neil's wife, who handles all the office and contact part of the business is very kind and efficient. This was a very satisfying contractor/customer project!
