I made an appt with Kiley & Sons on Monday 10/17 for a problem I am having with my shower. They made me an appointment for Wednesday 10/19 between 1-5. I just got a call at 1:30 on the 19th the day of my appointment, cancelling my appointment because they don't service my area! WHAT?! I gave them my address when I made the appointment. They service Marion county, I am live in the county seat of Marion County, Ocala. The office girl that called did not apologize. Now I'm scrambling to find a plumber for a leak that they should be fixing. This is terrible customer service. I would not reccomend to anyone.

Never received a call from the vendor as originally indicated, did not contact them.

Very well. The initial location for the water heater was not suitable for the replacement. I spoke with Brian and his supervisor who examined the garage for the best relocation. We planned it out being sure that plumbing and electrical and drainage would all work. They did part of the work that day with minimal down time for water to the house. We rescheduled the final install in a very short time, and the work was done quickly to my satisfaction. We ran into an unforseen problem which was corrected that day without delay. Clean up was very good and even some minor concrete block patching was finished.

Plumber was very professional and went right to work. It took him less than an hour to complete the work. Very efficient.

Very well. It was done in a hour. They actually arrived a little early which save me a long wait.

This company is excellent. We could not figure out why my lift station kept shorting out. This company solved the issue when another well known company in the area could not.

I live in Orlando and purchased a rental property in Leesburg. I called Kiley and Son's for an estimate for a total house re-pipe. I told them I had a lockbox on the house so that they could come by and give an estimate at their leisure. I was told that I would have to be present for the estimate so I arranged to take a Wednesday off work to drive to Leesburg. I was given a time of between 1 and 5pm. At around 3pm I had a reminder call from them so I thought I would just give them a call to confirm and make sure I was still on the schedule. At first when I called she said they don't normally do estimates on Wednesdays. She put me on hold and came back to tell me that they were so behind that they were still on the morning calls and could I change my appointment to Friday. I told here that I lived in Orlando and that I could meet them on the weekend. She said they don't work weekends. She then asked someone in the office and they made an exception since they were behind that they would come out and give an estimate without me being present. So come Friday morning I received a call from someone confirming my address. I asked them if they were told that I would not be present and they said no. That afternoon I called to ask how I would receive the estimate as I had not heard back from anyone. They said that it would be emailed to me. I said that no one had requested my email address so I gave it too her. My previous estimate from another company was given on the spot. It is now 3PM on the following Monday and still no email or phone call. I have made the decision that this is not the company for me. I shouldn't be chasing down a company to take my money. They either have a communication issue or too much business. I own multiple rental properties and need a plumber that is going to be there when I need them. I will stick to a small business plumber.

Made an appointment to install hot water heater. The appointment was scheduled for 3 days later which was ok with me because I still had hot water. They said the tech would be at my house between 0830-0900. At 0915, I called the company and after being put on hold twice (after asking my name and address), the representative said they had to order the hot water heater and my appointment would have to be rescheduled.

Everything went very well. He had a very positive attitude and was very friendly.

Jacob solved our toilet issues and fixed my faucet leak. He was thorough and very professional. He answered any questions I had and overall I am very impressed with him and that's who I will ask for the next time we need a plumber!

I called late on a Friday afternoon (after trying several other recommended plumbers who were booked solid for several days; I couldn't wait that long, as my leak was spewing water and the ground under my house was flooding rapidly). Kiley said right away that they could send someone -- which they did. The plumber (Gary) arrived soon after, promptly located the problem, and repaired the leaking pipe in short order. Charges were very reasonable, for which I was extremely grateful (having heard horror stories of plumbers' charges!). Gary was totally knowledgeable, efficient, calm, pleasant and professional. The entire transaction was smooth as could be, from the time the phone was answered at the Kiley office until Gary left my home after solving the problem. I will absolutely call Kiley & Sons again if I have another plumbing problem.

Initial installation went without difficulty. The actual price was $150 more than the quoted price. The installation required 2 visits afterwards to fix the subsequent problems. 1. There was a very apparent gas leak after installation that was taken care of the same day. The cleanup after the installation was less than stellar with attic access being left open, lights left on, and screws on the garage floor. 2. After shutting off the main gas line they failed to restart the pilot light on the second water heater. The second issue was only found out after I had scheduled them to install a second new water heater. The problem obviously wasn't the water heater itself but they had shutoff the gas main. This would all be ok except for the amount of attitude I received for having them come to restart the pilot light. I'm not a plumber or a gas expert; the issue may be obvious to a professional but I am not. I really did not appreciate this and will not use them for future gas/plumbing work.

Fine, except I though the price was high. I already had the new faucet.

I purchased this deal and they were here for 1 hour and 17 minutes. The deal was supposed to cover 30 minutes for the service call. I paid them an additional $120.77 for the labor and materials. According to my calculations based on their rate per hour they over charged me $17.50.

John talked to me extensively about the issue when they called me after my email and then Al came out and found the resolution. John then called me to check if their service was alright and I told him we were very happy with their service. He said they didn't know about the drain filter in the unit either but now we both know about it so it was educational for all of us. Absolutely would use them again!

This was their second time unclogging the same toilet approx. 30 days prior. When I brought that up they said there was no warranty on clogs. The serviceman did unclog the toilet, but I almost gagged when I lifted up the lid - the bowl was beyond nasty. They were very nice, punctual, etc. but I won't be using their services in the future.

It was okay. Their professionalism was good. The technician who originally came out had to shut off the main gas valve to the house in order to be able to cut the individual lines. He reported to me that the extra was stuck and that I should get a hold of the gas provider and let them know since the main valve to the house cannot be operated. I did that and the gas provider blew up. He said that the contractor should not be touching anything outside the house. It was illegal even for him to touch it. I was trying to report it as a problem with their equipment and they just transferred me to 3 people. Each time I started the end of the storyline after the part where the guy went out to turn the valve off, they blew up again and said he is not supposed to be touching that equipment. That was the gas provider, not Kiley that did that but it wasn’t the best experience not because of what they did but because of what the gas provider did.

They informed me they were not in my area and I am requesting a refund.

This company showed up exactly at the time they were scheduled. I had thought this job would take at least 2 days but this was handled in approx. 6 hours with 2 plumbers. They worked very quickly and efficiently, I was impressed. They also disposed of the old water heater and toilets. I would recommend this plumbing company to everyone.

He was very quick at understanding what was going on with my explanation. He fixed the leak, explaining and showing me what to do should it occur again. The mobile home is from 1976 with few if any plumbing updates. I was glad that he did not try to go for a really expensive fix, when a quick fix was available on a home that is not worth putting a lot of money into. I really appreciated that.

I am so impressed with this company. .When I got a water bill that jumped from under $20 to $168. I had the city come out and check the meter and was told it was somewhere between the meter and the house and was my responsibility. After the city came out, I called Kiley Plumbing and told the after hours dispatcher my story. He assured me that someone would call me first thing in the morning. I was sure I would have to wait for hours to have someone get back to me. That was not the case. A very nice woman called at 7:30 AM and said someone would be there as soon as possible. By 8:30, John, the technician was there and it took him many hours and 4 holes to find the leak. It was under a shrub, which he removed for us. Then he found a huge rock had been put in the hole, so he had to dig that out. He said we were losing water at 2 gallons a minute. He replaced the damaged valve and covered it for protection. He filled in all the holes; hauled all the brush to the road, hosed down the driveway and put everything back like it was. I couldn't be happier. I'm very grateful for the attentiveness, professionalism and quick response. It cost me $300 but it was worth every penny.

On August 22nd, The Villages patrol contacted me that water was leaking by the meter and they shut off the control. Fortunately, the leak was caught within an hour of the water flowing. I called Kiley & Sons and they arrived the same day and replaced a short piece of pipe. The plumber placed glue on the pipe and stated it would take 5 minutes to dry. He turned on the water and left. On September 2nd, The Villages water meter was read and the Village office called me immediately and stated there was a large leak. They shut off the water meter again. I called Kiley & Sons and the same plumber arrived and fixed the same pipe. I feel that it was not done right the first time and now I have a large water bill. I called Kiley & Sons and they asked me to send several months of prior water statements to them. I sent the last statement which shows a graft of the consumption of water for an entire year. The statement shows that 54,660 gallons of water was used during that two week period. My average monthly bill for the past year was $30.00 every month. The last bill because of the pipe leak was $179.59.
