Patterson Pools

My pool had become a green pond because the person entrusted with servicing it, never showed up in 5 weeks, while i was out of town. Amy was very responsive and came out almost immediately. she shocked and killed the algae and filtered a lot of it out. she came out monday evening to assess the issue, then again tuesday morning to begin the treatment. she made the comment that she would have the pool "swimable" by the weekend. i doubted this, but let her go at it. by the end of the week it was still cloudy and there was white stuff on the bottom. i texted her a week later and said it was still cloudy and she came out to see what she could do. she was going to take the DE filter apart and clean it and see if that would clear it up. she had changed the valve positions, and i asked her to put them back to their original positions. She apparently didnt know where the valves were originally set up, so the waterfall and spa waterfalls still werent flowing. After the second week and still cloudy water (cloudy enough that you could not see the bottom of the pool in 4 feet of water), i had to make a trip back to florida to correct the valves and get the pool so we could swim in it. i had to sweep the bottom to get the white stuff out, and then took the filter apart. apparently, Amy didnt take it apart when she said she would, because there was DE and debris packed in between the grids, and 5 out of seven grids had holes in them. i replaced the grids, added DE and reset the valves for the waterfalls and autobot sweeper. ran the pool pump for 18 hours straight and i was able to clear the water. she had not added any chlorine or salt, so i had the get the chemistry back to normal too. i paid her for what she had done, but was not really pleased with the level of service. Basically, i did in two days time, what she had not been able to do in over a week.

So far so good. She comes every week.
