 + -1 moreOur air conditioner stopped working one evening. The unit outside was on but no air coming from the vents. A friend recommended Daniel and he came early the next morning. He said the air handler was old and may need to be replaced. He said he would do some maintenance on the air handler and see if he could revive it. Dan said he was going to replace a part and if it didn't work, he wouldn't charge me for the part if it ended up that we had to replaced the air handler. We got lucky. Dan not only got right back that morning with the part, he did some long overdue maintenance and we were cool again very quickly. Dan thinks we may get another year out of the air handler and we are grateful for that report. Dan was so pleasant to work with and left everything spotless. So nice to find a technician with integrity. We hope our unit will last another year but if not we will most definitely call Dan again.
Description of Work: Our air handler stopped working. Dan checked the filter and replaced it. He checked the power source and the breakers, then began taking the unit apart to see if he could spot the trouble. The air handler is 10 years old and Dan thought we may need to replace it. He narrowed down the trouble to the possibility it may be a part and called his supplier to make sure the part was available. The new part worked and we were celebrating. It would have been easy for Dan to just say we had to have a new unit, but he didn't do that. We are very lucky to have found Dan.
