Steve (business owner) is responsive and professional but it took literally 7 weeks to initiate the hurricane shutter install process (was promised 3 weeks). Steve provided updates and status reports as to the shutters delivery date but I felt like he didn't do enough to push the shutter manufacturer in Miami to get the order completed. Seemed like all he had to do was to personally call the manufacturer and clearly inquire as to where the shutters were and why they hadn't been delivered on the promised date. All that said, once I finally threatened to cancel the contract due to the extreme delay on the delivery of the shutters, Steve turned-to obtaining the product and getting them installed to Monroe County standards.

The owner of the business gave me a price and date, I agreed, and he met all requirements in doing the installation. I was very pleased with the entire experience, and the workmanship was excellent. This business was recommended to me by two neighbors who had the same work done, and they were pleased with their hurricane shutters as well. I did not compare prices, and therefor, I cannot say whether the cost was competitive, but I believe it to be in the general range at that time, based on what I was told by others who did get more than one quote. .
