Called and scheduled an appointment; no one showed. Called again; "he must have forgot;" rescheduled; no show (was told later "he had to pick up his child at school"). Called again; rescheduled; arrived late; said he'll send a quote. No quote arrived; called again; was told he decided he didn't have time to do my job. Two and a half weeks wasted. Receptionist was good and tried hard. Dan may be a competent roofer, but in this case was totally irresponsible and inconsiderate.

This company showed up to replace the flat rubber roof on my attached neighbor's house. We are a four-plex with individual mansard roofs, but they are connected. We politely asked if they would be walking on our roof. They said, no, they would not be walking on our roof. What they didn't tell us is that they would be stomping on our roof, dropping heavy things on our roof, and doing who knows what that sounded like a boulder was coming through the roof of OUR house. After walking outside to see what was going on, of course, there were workers on our roof, in heavy boots, with rolls of roofing. I asked them, politely, to stay off our roof, as they had told us earlier they would. Had we been asked for permission to access our roof, I would have called my roofer to ask their opinion on that. But we thought they were not going to be on our roof. When I called the company to report the incident, the company spokesperson was dismissive. "Well, they'd only be on your roof if it was a necessity," she said. Whether it was or wasn't a necessity isn't the point. They were not supposed to be on our roof. They knew we were sensitive about that, because we specifically asked first thing before they started. If the roof is damaged in any way, and I will have my handy man go up there and inspect it, it would be their fault. No necessity makes it right. The company representative didn't like what I had to say, and HUNG UP ON ME. Typical Keys customer service, so I'm not really surprised. Though I can't speak to the work quality, the crew had no problem walking on our property, throwing their soda cans and water bottles around, and other trash, which they said they'd pick up before they left. So, this review is really just a heads up. If you want this sort of company to do work for you, I understand they do good work. But just be aware that they may upset your neighbors. I for one wouldn't hire them if they were the last company on earth. I like to take a person at their word, and their word could not be trusted.

Came when promised. Did the work. Slow to bill. Nice people.

Successfully repaired leaky roof over the back porch.

I used another company.

There was a flood in the summer of 2006. We had the whole roof redone. They were excellent. They showed up on time and did their job well.
