Certified Appliance

This was the most frightfull experiance I have ever had. I bought a new over the stove Microwave from Home Depot for a mobile home I rent out. Removed the old one and installed the new one. Plugged it in and powered up. Before I was finished I had to unplug the power, when I was finished I plugged it back in the outlet, it didn't power up. Two days later had not powered up so I let Home Depot know and they ordered it to be serviced. An hour before Certified Appliance Repair showed up I got it to power up. The light inside didn't work but did heated up a glass of water. They found the light bulb burned out. They said they can't keep Microwave parts in stock and would have to order it and left. After they left for some reason I had to pull the plug out and when I plugged it back in it didn't power up. When I called them back I was told I shouldn't have unplugged it. He showed another day, he had not called me or the lady living there. She was lucky she heard him at the door and order more parts. I had to leave town for 3 weeks, He came back with the other parts ordered, I Guess he blew them up and declared it not repairable. As he left, I had the lady living there, say to him, if he can't fix it then he should get GE to replace it with a new one. He didn't answer and left. I called GE and they said they would get him back and talk to their Tec's. He them told GE the Microwave had bugs in it. While I was away I asked them why it wasn't fixed yet. They said I would have to get the place treated for bugs before they would go further. CAR told me if I opened it to check for bugs it would void the warranty. I told them if there are bugs in the Microwave they were in there when I got it from Home Depot. They told me to take it back for it would be their problem. So I called and paid for another Authorized GE person to open it and he found NO BUGS. We took pictures and I sent them off to GE. GE called the guy I had open it and he informed them NO BUGS in the Microwave or the home. While he was there I asked the lady living there if CAR man said anything about bugs in the Microwave, she said he had not. We asked her to describe the service man and figured out he was the owner of CAR. Once GE got the pictures and information they sent in a new Microwave and I asked the guy I had check it for bugs remove and install the new one. It was installed the 28th of July. CAR wasted so much of GE's and my time over this. The lady living in my place ended up without the Microwave for two months. I am looking into any other legal action I can bring on CAR

Showed up a little late but on the day they said they would. Competitive price, very professional installers including one of the family members who own the firm. They will be my first choice if we need any more appliances.

Caesar was the repair person who arrive to fix my built-in confection Oven / microwave combo. The microwave was not working. Caesar know right away that relay / (and some other part that I don't remember) had failed. He told me what it would cost to repair it. (Which was almost the cost of a brand new unit, just shy a $200 ) He told me he would not recommend fixing it. He actually went on to say he would not recommend replacing it with another combo confection/microwave unit. He said he had seen to many fail to often. He recommended replacing with just a microwave. Since this was a built in, he also knew of a Trim Kit that could be used to make the new microwave look built-in also. Making it look finished. He had pictures of another he had done. It looked great and I decided to do that. Caesar said it would be about 2 weeks before everything came in. It actually only took a week. They called early to install. Everything was completed, cleaned and old hauled away in less than 30 minutes. The cost was still less than actually replacing the combo unit. Caesar was very professional, courteous. I was very satisfied with them.

It went very well! The tech showed up on time, fixed the problem and it was cost effective! I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future!

Mike came on schedule, was pleasant, gave appropriate resolution of the problem with a fair price for the call. Just what I wanted.

The fellow came twice. The first time he sad he did compression tests and could find nothing wrong. He reset the vacuum condenser light and charged $80 for service call. The second time all the problems existed and the vacuum condenser light had come on again. He did some pressure tests, say the heavy frost in the freezer and called Sub-Zero. After call he said he couldn't figure it out and left having accomplished nothing. There was no charge for the second visit. Nice fellow but certainly no help whatsoever.
