Computer now works fine. They did their magic in a very timely fashion so I was not without a computer for very long.

It was unable to be fixed, he swapped out my personal info onto a used one he sold at a reasonable price for a small business.

These guys are quite cool. They never say die even in the face of a difficult problem. Highly recommended! They are my "go to" guys from now on.

I called Mark Evans Computers today as I have a newer PC that has seemed to stop working when searching the web. I kept receiving the error message HTTP 404. Mike answered the phone & said it might be a virus. He would call me back and we could work remotely. I wanted someone to come out but he urged me to try the remote service-- it is quicker and cheaper. Boy, was he right! That's the best $20 I have spent in a long time. He called me back within the hour and had me download a program that would allow him to assist me from his office. He cleaned up some programs, suggested G. Chrome and set up and downloaded the current Java program. Mike also suggested what to do on my own to keep the system maintenanced. He was very knowledgeable about PCs but directed me to another associate if I want to bring in my Apple laptop for service. All and all it was a very productive 20 minutes and put me back on track to the internet. Yeah! Thank you, Mike for your responsiveness and professionalism. I will keep your number on the ready for the future!

Very professional and knowledgeable operation! Both computers were efficiently troubleshot and repaired much quicker than I had anticipated. Mike called and explained the issues he found with both computers and what he needed to do to effect repairs. I've had the computers back and running for a couple of weeks now and they are both running better than ever! I will certainly return to MARK EVANS COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY for future needs and will recommend them to anyone in need of quality repairs and a fair cost!

Mark Evans made the process of replacing a 10 year old computer system almost enjoyable. I had been dreading this although I knew I was past time to make an upgrade. When the hard drive finally crashed due to my procrastination I thought my nightmare had finally come true. Having dealt before with "international" service calls (DELL), I looked for an alternative to the corporate computer company business model. Mark Evans builds his own computers from quality components and provides local off and on site installation and service. He was very patient, gave me as much time as I needed to discuss the ideal "build" for me, and then Toby provided an expert installation and orientation. They recovered my data much to my relief. The new computer is much. much faster. Since Mark Evans builds and services these units they can be upgraded indefinitely. Prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent! As noted, they are very patient. They gauge the knowledge level of the customer and adjust their explanations, never rushing the conversation. Give them a try!

The Tech immediately knew what I needed and was thorough in explaining our options. All through the process, he kept us informed and explained how our information was protected while in the shop. Really put our mind at ease. When the computer was returned, the tech took all the time I needed to get it back like we were accustomed. Very pleased and happy to find a reputable computer place

As above, computer the fix was found, accomplished quickly at a very reasonable price, and I was on my way home in less than 45 minutes.

Mark took care of the problem on the spot and I had my computer back the same day! He was very resonable and did a great job!

I have used Mark Evans Computers for over two years. This businesss is top-notch in all respects. Mark and his entire staff are very professional and their motto is "no problem we can't fix" That's definitely true. This particular time, I called their office and Mike and Cory tried to help me remotely. When that didn't work after a couple tries, Mike came to my home and in one hour fixed an obscure problem that prevented me from printing from my computer. He also did several other things to make sure everything was running smoothly. Each time they've come to my home (which I prefer) they've been very prompt, courteous and professional. Their prices are reasonable and they guarantee their work. They also have carry-in service if that's more convenient for the customer. When they are at my home, they explain what they did and work quickly to solve the problems. Time is money and they don't make small talk. They know what to do and they get the job done right every time while still being friendly. I can't say enough about this business and I'd give them 10-stars if I could.

the company rep mike was wonderful. he was aware that I was not technically efficient, he did not talk to me on a level I could not understand. he was receptive to all questions, he showed me how to place an online order and look for security alerts. the price quote over the phone was reasonable but, was less once the service call was completed, I called in the morning and was able to be seen the very same day. I would encourage people of all ages and all computer levels to seek assist from this company,

Terrible. Was supposed to be here at 1:00 today. I HAD to call him at 1:30 and he said that he is late. Lousy excuses since a cell phone sits in his pocket. Said he is leaving "Now". (and only 20 minutes away) no word. I call him and.....no real apology. He was "again" on the way. This is basically, at least, a two hour late No show. And I had to initiate BOTH CALLS. I don't know about all these huge number of favorable responses to his company but I run a tight ship, would ALWAYS call a customer if I was going to go past the "15 minute" rule. My last IT/Computer guy never did that to my company in 17 years. I understand delays. But pick up the cell phone and never stand up someone two hours that is running a business without communicating AND an incredibly great reason. AND THIS WAS HIS FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH MY COMPANY! HARD TO BELIEVE!!!! APS, LLC

Called him on a Saturday around noon and he told me to bring it right over and he would look at the computer while I waited. He looked and was able to fix it on the spot.

I own Rock's Moving Company and we have 4 computers in our office. For 15 years we have tried numerous "computer experts" and have never used the same place twice. We were always disappointed with their level of expertise. Mark and his crew are fantastic. They know what they are doing, they are reasonably priced, and they are genuinely nice people. What more could you ask for? Computer problems will be much less stressful from now on.

My graphics card burnt out. My husband installed a new graphics card and power supply, but the computer wouldn't power on. We brought everything to their shop and Corey was the young man that helped us. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and seemed very confident that he could repair it. The next day it was done, apparently there was a short in the motherboard that had happened when the old graphics card died. He also installed the driver and updates for the new video card and did general PC cleanup. We were pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive this repair was. I think the best part about this experience was how nice and friendly both Mark and Corey were. They answered our questions about airflow in the computer and also recommended specific sites to get a free PC cleaner and extra anti-virus scan to maintain our PCs. They also took the time to show us different cases that we could move our computer into that would provide a lot more airflow and we plan to bring it back to them soon to get that done (my PC is clogged with wires and very tight spaces, hard to install new hardware which we found out when we installed the power supply and graphics card). All in all one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had when I needed service done!

Spoke on the phone, he was very knowledgable about model and problem. He gave an accurate diagnosis and estimate. He completed the work on time at the quoted price and provided the damaged parts. Professional experience from start to finish.

Anytime any little thing pops up, I call them and they take care of it. They always have someone to help you right away. They always fix it and solve the problem the first time. I think they are great. They are always very pleasant on the phone. They are a pleasure to work with. I wouldn’t use anyone else for computer service.

They are very good. They are an outstanding group. I’ve never had any viruses removed but I’ve been there when they work with other customers and they do a very good. They also recommend how you can stay out of that situation. They also custom build computers to your specification. I highly recommend them.

Theses folks are very reasonable, know their business, and just as impressive very fast. I caught them when they had an open slot in the schedule and it was all done in under two days. When your laptop goes out you need it repaired quickly and properly by honest, professional people which they are. When I dropped it off they told me exactly what would be required and the cost under a few scenarios and that is exactly what they charged when it was done. I'd highly recommend and good to know who you can depend on.

My laptop screen started going red around the edges, then it went so dark the screen was extremely difficult to see. At 1st they were unable to duplicate the fact that I could see the faint ghosting of the previous screen thru the blackness & they went thru some other testing before finding that the problem was in fact the LED screen. While they did not have a compatible screen in stock, they promptly ordered one from California & got me back up & running as soon as it came in. They kept me apprised of the work being done & they were prompt, professional & efficient. Unfortunately, I did not check my webcam at that time since I rarely use it, so I don't know if the non-working webcam is in any way related to the screen replacement since it had no previous issues. This review just reminded me that I should mention this to them! I found this company by following other excellent Angie's List reviews. I was thrilled to find they were located very close to where I live, so I was able to easily drop off & pick up my laptop for service. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Excellent service, with fair pricing. Honest, professional people. I have been going here for approx 5 + years. I would not let anyone else touch my computer. Just bought a new PC from them and I couldn't be happier with it. Custom built by MECT. Whatever your computer needs, these guys can handle it. Highly recommended.
