Description of Work: changed out lock cylinder (very carefully). It was rotted and yet the gentleman was able to keep it intact. He did a great job and was very pleasant and professional.

Description of Work: The lock on my sliding glass door was not working. They aligned the runners and lubricated the tracks. They were very knowledgable and friendly. My only complaint is that the people that came into my home smelled of cigarette smoke and it was quite heavy.

Description of Work: Re-keyed all of the doors, installed safety devices on sliding-glass doors and also re-keyed the gates on the fence. We were provided with punctual and professional service, which took about an hour maybe less. We would absolutely use K&D again.

Description of Work: We recently purchased a home in PSL and We wanted the locks rekeyed. I found this company on Angie's List. The tech arrived at the scheduled time. I showed him the doors and explained what I wanted. He went about his business in a very professional manner. He rekeyed 2 doors, change out the lock in another. We wanted a secure lock for our sliding patio door. The one he had wouldn't work with the type of door we have. However, he presented a low cost alternative that works really well. I was very happy with the service I received and the products included in the purchase. I would highly recommend them. Will use again, should the need arise.

+ -1 moreI said that I was an early bird and he could come like 4am in the morning, he lands up, coming at 7 or 8 am and I was very happy to get that job out of the way, so I was free the rest of the day. He calls me, he would be there at 7 or 8am and he appeared on time, not even a minute late; infact he came 15 minutes early. He did his work, very pleasant guy and has been in the business for a long time. He did a lot of things, did it quickly and knew what he was doing. Their quality of work is excellent and the price has been average, I don’t know if $90 is accurate, but that’s the price which stays on my mind. Their responsiveness is absolutely wonderful, punctuality is perfect and professionalism is great. I will absolutely use them in future, as how many times you have to change the locks, you never know.
Description of Work: I used the services of K & D Mobile Key & Lock Shop to tumble the locks in our house, sometime late September, 2011.

+ -1 moreCalled to let us know he would be early. Kenneth re-keyed side entrance door and door to garage. The latter lock was so old that it fell apart when he was working on it, and he replaced that lock at no additional charge. We never had a key for our front door, as the former owners told us they never entered the house through that door. Kenneth confirmed and provided the number of keys that we wanted for all three doors. Very courteous, fast and professional.
Description of Work: Re-keyed three locks, including one for which we did not have a key.

+ -1 moreGreat response and service. I had actually gone on Angie's list to find a locksmith and called one in Port St. Lucie. He was very nice, but only came to Stuart one day a week and recommended K &D, owned by a friend of his. I called and they were out there in an hour. The guy was great--really nice man, friendly, fast and professional. The lockset is very old and unique, but he had no problem with it. Great job and service. I think the price was fair too.
