Jupiter Tequesta Air Conditioning, Plumbing

n July I ordered 4 filters from them. It’s October & I still don’t have my filters. Last week I got a call telling me my filter were in, I made an appointment, I wasn’t home, my son was. When I came home from work, there were no filters. So I called. I was told the tech left them, he did not leave them, I have made several calls to get this resolved, every time I call I get an apology, & then they actually go further & lie to me. A different story every time I call. They promise to return my call to get this resolved. No phone calls, no resolution. 1st they said they were delivered, then they said they had to check with the manufacturer, then they said they received the wrong filters & again they are sorry. So I still don’t have my filters, but you can be sure they have had my money since July. Nothing but lies. Beware of this company, the customer service is horrendous. They don’t return phone calls, I’ve called day after day after day, still the same apology but still no filters. BAD Customer service.

4 days ago I had Brian come out to give me a quote on my line set repair. He said his manager wants to see the job and would be out today. They both arrived and after viewing the work the manager decided to decline the business. This was surprising to me because they came recommended from my condo maintenance man and have done similar work in my complex before. What is my lesson to be learned? Dont call Jupiter Tequesta air for repair work. If they dont have confidence in their specialty of AC work, neither should you.

as always Jupiter Tequesta Air Conditioning, Plumbing showed up right on time and were courteous clean and professional. I had a AC tune up today but I have also used them for pluming and electrical service in the past. I have always been very satisfied with their work.

I needed to replace an old air-conditioning unit in a condominium in Palm Beach Gardens and was relatively happy with the options, pricing and installation by Jupiter-Tequesta. However, once the job was done and the county inspector came and denied a permit because of a couple of minor problems, I learned what a poorly run company this is. More than six months after trying to get someone to come out and address and fix the country inspector's concerns - including more than a half dozen phone calls and messages - I finally did something I've never done before: contact the Better Business Bureau to explain what I was going through. BBB contacted the business and, magically, I received both an email and phone call that day from the person who had not returned phone calls for months asking me when I would like to set up an appointment. She gave me a one-week window in August when someone from the company could come out; as a part-year resident I am not there in August but will have someone meet them to put this mistake behind me. This is not the way you do business. I would avoid this company at all costs.

The main 150-amp circuit breaker to my home kept tripping periodically, shutting off all power. I called the power company, Florida Power & Light (FPL), and they told me that since the circuit breaker was located between the electric meter and my house, I was responsible for repairing it. In searching for a licensed electrician to check out / repair the problem, I called FPL Energy Services (FPLES), a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, Inc which also owns FPL. When I called, their “Home Electrical Services” phone number, the phone was answered by Jupiter-Tequesta. I said that I was trying to reach FPLES, and the representative said that Jupiter-Tequesta had been purchased by FPLES. I explained the problem and they scheduled an electrician to come out the next day between 3 and 6 pm. The next day, the electrician called to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, he checked the outside main breaker and the inside breakers, but he could not find anything obviously wrong with either part of the system. I asked if the main breaker might be weak due to its age (about 38 years), and he said it was possible. I asked if he could just replace it. He said he would check if the breaker itself was still available, if not he would have to replace the entire outside breaker box. He checked online, determined that the breaker was available and provided me with a quote of $507 to do the work. A few hours after he left, I called Jupiter-Tequesta and told them that I wanted the work done. We scheduled the service call for 10 days later between 8 and 11am. The next day I received a coupon in the mail from Jupiter-Tequesta for $50 towards electrical service. The coupon was unrelated to my interaction with them, as it had been mailed before I ever contacted them. On the scheduled day, the electrician called to tell me he was on his way. He arrived shortly thereafter, completed the work quickly and accepted the coupon.

Excellent. The company employees were informative, punctual, courteous and did a wonderful job! Highly recommend!

Our service provider, Hector, was very knowledgeable, helpful and answered all of our questions. We had an immediate response to our service call and were very pleased with the service.

My issue is with the company, generally, not with the technician who was sent to my home. I have had a service contract with Jupiter Tequesta since I moved into my house in July 2016. Under the contract, I am to receive same day service. Since their partnership with FPL, I have needed service 4 times (2 electrical, 2 plumbing). On none of these occasions was I given same day service. For one of the plumbing issues, which was a leak in the main water line, it took 2 days before someone could come. For one of the electrical issues, which is a follow up to work they started last Thursday, my appointment is over 3 weeks from now. Their excuse is that they are "building a better company for their customers" by having technicians re-trained under FPL. I have never had a worse experience. Needless to say there has never been any conversation about refunding the amount I pay for a higher level service contract that provides same day service. I am cancelling my contracts and do not recommend anyone use them

The hot water heater that went bad was in the attic and it was my preference to install the new one in the attic. Other plumbers said it couldn't be done because of new heater diameters. J-T rep James said he could find a heater that would fit and did it. It took a few days to schedule it but when the day came the install went perfectly. James and his assistant were very professional, courteous, and on time. They cleaned up the job site when done to the point that you would never know they had been there, except that I now have hot water.

Good but abit expensive. However competent and responsive with excellent resources and experienced staff

Jupiter Tequesta had their representative Wendell at my house within an hour. Wendell fixed my problem and had my AC back up and running in less than an hour. Thank you Wendell for excellent work after hours on a Friday night. You are the BEST !!!

The technician was polite and professional. He called before he arrived and upon entering my home he put coverings on his shoes. The company also response quickly to anyone who calls.

Service Tech showed up at the exact time scheduled. He diagnosed problem within minutes and replaced defective part. Total time at the house was about 25 minutes Couldn't asked for better service or professionalism Top notch firm

Gary was able to get the air running again. Two days later we had to call again to have them come back and service the unit again. Joseph was the service man this time and he was very professional. This was the 29th time the unit has been worked on. Joe was going back to the office and said he would talk to the Managers and call back that day and it has been three days ago Now we are in a situation. There has been a death in the family and we have to go to South Carolina and pray the conditioner doesn't" break down in our absents. My husband would love to have a meeting with the owners Matt & Rick but they are to busy for one customer. Mr. & Mrs. William Bass
