Description of Work: Toilet appeared to be leaking from base and sink had a drain leak as well. I preferred to have someone look at them in case the issue was greater than I was prepared to handle myself. Fortunately, he came prepared with parts and was able to resolve both issues in the same visit. Cleaned up very nicely as well.

Description of Work: The company took a while to contact me. Was a no show for the appointment. Rescheduled and service was provided. Wanted to charge extra for a service that was originally discussed. We settled on a price to complete job. Work performed was good.

Description of Work: We had a toilet with a broken flange, which was more than I wanted to handle. I called Ray on Thursday afternoon and he said that he was not sure he could get to me on Friday. We stayed in contact by Angie's messaging. Due to my schedule, we arranged for Eddie to come at 8:30 on Tuesday. | |Eddie changed the flange and reinstalled the toilet. Everything was done quickly and professionally, and left clean. | |This is my first time using an Angie's List provider and I am very happy with the experience.

Description of Work: They fix a nagging slow leak I could not find under my kitchen sink. They are great. They checked my plumbing and sink. They were very thorough. Great Job. I will be using them.

Description of Work: Had an appointment for first thing in the morning. Received a call from plumber that he had to deal with a burst pipe and would call me around 2:30 p.m. Never received call back. Had to call owner. By then it was 4:00, and I rescheduled after waiting all day. Told owner I needed a Moen cartridge replaced in shower. Plumber showed up and told me he had to go buy the cartridge because he didn't have one on the truck. What should have been a one hour job turned into a two hour job so I gave him two minor jobs (replace toilet flapper and repair sink lever.) Work was done well. Told plumber the $90 per hour fee for the second hour was much higher than estimates I had previously received so the owner offered to lower it to $65, which is consistent with area estimates.

Description of Work: Replaced our outdoor hose bib, using one we had bought, and found the leak in our garage, caused by two open manifold fixtures which had not been tightened by the installer when they (a different plumbing company) replaced the old copper piping in our whole house, several months earlier.

Description of Work: Arrived ahead of schedule. He changed the flapper which was part of the promo. Apparently I also needed another part for which I was charged $125 including installation. I sincerely regret not going to Lowe's and buying it and installing it myself. |Next time I'll think twice before approving any add on services to an Angie's list deal.

Description of Work: The owner, Andy, responded promptly, evaluated the job and estimated the cost. He set an appointment and his helper arrived on time and set to work immediately. Eddie was courteous, hard working and efficient. I have no complaints at all. The final cost was even at the lower end of the estimated range. |I will be glad to recommend FAM Plumbing.

Description of Work: I am very disappointed as this was the first time I have used the List. The toilet still makes noise. Unable to fix leaky faucet and said I needed a new faucet, not just a part which I was later told at Home Depot. I wanted to change the shower handle to turn om the water and asked to have the handle removed to replace. He was unable to do this as he did not have the correct size too. I think I should be reimbursed $124.00 for work they were unable to do correctly. Helene Mandel
