+ 0 moreThe whole operation went very well. Job was excavated and installed in a day and then inspected the next day. Half a day of backfill and leveling. Very pleased overall. We had requested quotes from seven firms but two did not work in our area. One bid was way too low for the work to be done. The next lowest was a qualified firm but their workload would keep them from starting for two months. Dan's price was competitive and could start withing a couple of weeks. We're very pleased that we had Dan's do the work.

+ -1 moreJupiter Septic came out to our home within just a few hours of calling. I was very grateful for this, as our toilets were no longer flushing and making gurgling noises. Scott assured me of of his team members would be there no later than after lunch. Someone showed up mid-morning. He completed the task at hand while keeping my husband and I informed on the process. I was pleased with their responsiveness and work quality. I would recommend their services.

+ -1 moreSpoke to the answering service and said someone would get back to me. Never received a call. Called again 2 days later no one answered the phone. Last contact, I spoke with Scott from Jupiter Septic. They Did a pump out for me and told me I needed to replace the drainfield. Scott said he would follow up with Dan. Never received a call.

+ -1 moreDan's Backhoe Service d/b/a/ Jupiter Septic is the best of the best. Scott, one of the owners, came to our house personally within two hours of our initial phone call. He was friendly, extremely competent and a pleasure to work with. Our septic tank was pumped and the filter was clean within an hour. Most septic tank cleaning businesses I have dealt in the past with have been dishonest hustlers at best, always trying to overcharge or up-sell unnecessary services. This company is the rare exception. They are honest and reputable. I plan to use them again in a couple of years and highly recommend them to anyone in need of this service.

+ 0 moreI called Scott on Sunday and he promptly scheduled me for Monday morning service. Tony and his colleague were on time, polite and knowledgeable. They were careful in their digging, explained everything they were doing, and provided helpful guidance on future maintenance. Having used other septic companies before, their professionalism and knowledge are well beyond what I expected. Although I don't look forward to pumping my septic tank, I will definitely use them again.

I have a few neighbors that went with the more common place septic service for drain field replacement and they have been sitting with a torn up yard for weeks. Dan was in and out in 3 days!!!! Job was perfect.

I was told by others that I needed a new septic field for 7K but instead my septic tank was fixed and some tree roots were removed. If you need this service I highly recommend them. Description of Work: Dan returned my call the same day. We discussed my problem and said he would be over the next day. Dan came the next day, pumped my septic tank. He put on a new coller and cap for easy access if we have the problem in the future. Dan did everything he said he would on time and at a reasonable price. By the way some of the bigger companies did not call back!

+ 0 moreMade an appointment for the following day. Arrived when they said they would.. Explained everything that they were going to do and then pumped the tank. Said all was good and recommended that we use a bacteria additive once a month. Have it pumped again in about 3 years as there is just the 2 of us living in the house. Will definitely will use them again. Very prompt, polite and professional.

The only down side was that due to excessive rain the ground was extremely soft and therefore more of the yard was torn up but Dan stated that may happen so it wasn't like I didn't know about it in advance. Will recommend him in the future to friends and family.

Description of Work: What a stereotypical septic tank problem. He it was, Christmas Day, we have 30 people coming over for a Christmas Dinner, and our toilets and sinks stop draining. I knew enough to check my clean out and saw it was full of water, so I knew it was the septic tank. I also knew enough about the tank and I dug up the access caps - sure enough, the inlet side scum layer was blocking the drain. I went straight to Angie's list to find someone who provided emergency service, being it was Christmas Day. Scott from Jupiter Septic called me right back. He said he was more than happy to come right out, but if I wanted, he could help tell me what to do to get through until the next morning and thus save me the emergency service fee. Of course, I took him up on his offer, we had our family dinner and A Jupiter Septic truck showed up the first thing next morning to pump out my tank. Because i had the access covers dug up already, they gave me a discount. They were very friendly, provided quick and great service, but what impressed me most was that they were just genuine people. They could have made more money on my service by sending someone out and charging the emergency fee. They could have charged me the regular rate but instead offered a discount because I had dug up the covers. They were just honest people providing an honest service that most people wouldn't want to do, and they do it with a smile. I would and will use them again.
