Description of Work: I needed this contractor to ultimately repair a roof. Before that, damage needed a cleanup from a collapse. The cleanup was performed in relatively ok fashion. After that was completed (and paid for), I could not get him back to compleye the major part of the work. Multiple calls were never returned and it was impossible to reach him other than through messages on his voicemail.

Description of Work: My roof was damaged by TS Fay. The owner was quick to respond for first look. He told me he could fix it but NEVER even got on the roof. I never received an estimate. Subsequent calls were not returned. ONE WORD: UNPROFESSIONAL. If you don't want the job, just say so.

+ 1 moreFirst estimate was from a contractor recommended by a roofing consultant. It was $2000, and did not include replacing damaged plywood, or the sheathing all the way around the chimney. Carpenter Pete & his crew did a much more complete and through job for about half the price.
Description of Work: Located & repaired leak causing damage to an area of the roof surrounding a chimney. Removed & replaced damaged plywood roofing material, replaced sheathing all the way around the chimney, not just the part that was visibly damaged; caulked all chimney cracks and installed tile to match existing tile.
