The work went great - great communication from start to finish from Mike which was important considering the work restricted entry into home. The crew was great and the quality of the work is excellent. The work was done over several days with different phases and weather had to be worked around. The communication from Mike was helpful because of my schedule with business, pet and holiday travel.

2 other companies I contacted never showed up to quote the job, 1 other offered one option which was double the scope of work that was really needed. I then contacted Mike at Callaway. He offered 3 options for me to choose from and explained the process and timeline for the job. Everything went accordingly and would highly recommend him.

Mike and his crew were awesome to work with. Mike always got back to me quickly when i had any questions and was able to complete the job soon after I received HOA approval. The day of the project, Mike and his men arrived at my house at the scheduled time. He reviewed with his men what needed to be done. His men did a great job. They removed my pavers then poured concrete to create a new foundation. His men were professional and cleaned up after the job was complete. Couldn't ask for anything more. I highly recommend Callaway Concrete Pumping! They truly are the best!

What a horrible experience dealing with Mike with J Campbell. First of all his responsiveness is terrible. I had to call and text numerous times. Seemed like a good guy once I got him out and he provided a decent quote. Scheduled the work and didn't hear from him again. Had to follow up a month later to see what the status was. His excuse was the permit had not been issued. I contacted the county and it had been issued 14 days prior. When I contacted Mike about his he literally lost his temper and made a bunch of excuses about being too busy and that he doesn't want people dictating his schedule (which I didn't). This company will not stick to a rough schedule provided, they will not provide you updates on the schedule, and Mike will absolutely get ****** off when you ask for any sort of update as if he takes it as a personal offense. Good luck dealing with them if you do choose this company. I now get to go back through the whole process from the start of finding a contractor after a month and a half of being strung along. I gave him every chance to do the project, you can see his responses in the photos. Seems like an alright company for large jobs but if you're a smaller residential project don't waste your time.

Excellent. In the process of removing the old driveway a waste line was damaged. I had it repaired and a few month's later i was reimbursed by Callaway Concrete Insurance company. I would use Callaway again and would recommend them. Good honest folks to deal with.

I thought the whole job was excellent. They were very thorough and timely. They completed the work quicker than they estimated it would. This was one of the better experiences I've had with work being done around the home in a long time.

I have nothing, but positive things to say about Mike Calloway (owner). He has provided us with top notch service from day one! I will highly recommend him to my family, friends, and neighbors. Not only is the quality of work superb, but the customer service was far beyond my expectations. When I first contacted Mike he picked up right away, which seems to be unheard of with most contractors. He gave me a verbal estimate. I continued to shop around and decided to have Mike come out to take measurements. Once again he picked up the phone, amazing! He came out the same day, in fact earlier! He explained the process; permits, HOA approval, etc. Mike then emailed proposal about two days later. He has always been reliable, prompt, and responsive throughout the entire process. We finally scheduled the work to be done and it was completed in one day. Second day was just to remove the frame. Mike came out to the job on the first day to give his guys instructions. They were on time, efficient, and neat. They did just what we wanted and couldn’t be more satisfied. To sum it up, Calloway Concrete, is professional, personable, reliable, responsive, and efficient. I look for most of these qualities in every contractor we hire and he checked all those off the list. Beyond excellent!

We feel they did a good job as does our neighborhood association. Mike, the owner, called every day to check in with me. They put down a high end seal on the cement. It protects the cement and increases traction. I was concerned about the amount of dust. They had their power washers on to avoid dust getting everywhere. After the job was done, They power washed the streets and sidewalks with a 2 house radius on both sides of the house. They were very neat, clean, and careful. The crew was excellent. Even the inspector said they did a good job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mike is professional and easy to work with. He responded quickly to my initial call, scheduled a site visit within a day or two, sent a quote shortly after and was able to schedule the work within a week. He and his crew arrived on schedule and worked to finish the job within the promised time frame. The concrete looks great - it's flat and smooth and the design integrates perfectly with the surrounding landscaping. It's evident that these men really care about the work they do.

Mike responded to my voicemail right away and was able to come by our house that afternoon to assess our pool deck. Mike quickly reviewed our deck and was very honest in his recommended course of action. He determined that since 90% of the deck was in fairly good shape (aside from the cracks and the 1980's pink color scheme), he didn't think the expense of tearing out and re-pouring the deck (his line of work) was necessary. He offered two alternatives to fix the problem (a paver system or patching and resurfacing) and then provided vendor contact information for each alternative. He was punctual and straightforward. After hearing a gloom and doom story from the guys who resurfaced our pool (who wanted to tear the whole pool out because it was "sinking due to the weight of the deck"), his candor and honesty were refreshing and relieving! If I ever have need of concrete services in the future, I will definitely contact Mike first!

Terrible! hit and run with problems, gave me the run around for months to fix and left me hanging. BEWARE

Excellent. We are very happy with the outcome. He put in a handicap driveway. It is graded to the front door so there is no visual difference or change from driveway to doorway. It looks great. Thank you very much!

Mike ran into difficulty, through no fault of his own, with electric and sprinkler lines. He worked tirelessly w/ FPL and made sure they resolved a very complicated issue. He was extremely professional, attentive, and the quality of work performed was exemplary.

It went well. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and work began the day Mike said it would. We are very pleased with the outcome.

I called and tried to leave a message for the contractor. Mailbox was full. I sent a message which was not returned. I then called again and left a message. This time, I received a call back. I told the contractor that I needed a concrete step added in my garage leading into the house. His response was that the minimum charge was $1200! I was shocked because 1) other references clearly stated that the jobs were well under that price meaning that he did not have a minimum in those cases (why), and 2) the job is not a big one and should have cost no more than $500. When I questioned him about his price, he said he's not the lowest. That's an understatement. Price gouging -- not a good thing anywhere and especially on Angie's List. Obviously, I would not use this contractor for any future work. Caveat emptor.

Mike Callaway was great. This was the first company I contacted. He was upfront about his prices and plan. When I told him I would be getting other quotes he responded by stating that I should get as many quotes as I wanted so that I would feel comfortable when I hired him. And that is exactly what happened. The guys that did the actual work weren't on time, they were a few minutes early. They worked hard, and were more than happy to explain what they were doing as I was watching them. I will happily recommend Callaway to anybody, and will use them again if I have anymore concrete needs.

Contacted Mike Callaway for an estimate. He immediately went to project location and provided a written estimate within hours. Had to go back to location to meet with my father for verbal/visual explanation the following week, and did it without too much grumbling. Crew and owner showed up on Saturday morning at scheduled time. Everyone was very professional, extremely polite, and did everything they were supposed to do. Although Callaway's price was a little higher than other estimates, we went with him because of his appearance, presentation and confidence. Would absolutely use again. Thanks Mike to you, your brother and the entire crew. You did a great job.

Callaway Concrete Pumping is licensed, bonded and insured and did an excellent job pouring concrete into our sunken lanai making it level with our living room so we can have our home tiled throughout. Mike the owner visited our home promptly and gave us a very reasonable estimate. The crew arrived promptly as scheduled and took great care to avoid any issues with our HOA making sure they did not park on any grassy area and used plastic covering on the roadway to to avoid any concrete spill from the cement truck. The crew was very friendly and professional throughout the job. The concrete was completed using a broom finish since tile was going to be installed. Mike communicated with the crew and also stopped by during the job to see how everything was going. The crew had many years experience. I would definitely recommend Callaway Concrete Pumping and would certainly use them again.

Mike stopped by on the morning of 10/16 to inspect work we wanted to have done. As promised, he emailed the proposal on the morning of 10/17. We accepted his bid the very same day and scheduled to have the job completed the following weekend on Friday-Saturday, 10/18-10/19. Mike sent out a few guys from his crew to prep the areas to be raised and filled in with concrete on Friday. Hard workers! Mike's crew showed up on time Saturday morning to complete the job. They were professional, polite, and did a fantastic job! I would definitely hire them again for future projects.
