Chris Broedell never came back to finish the job that l paid for.. An Incomplete job! He gives out bids but doesn't follow through. Has very poor communication skills. His crew supposed to cut down 4 or 5 fishtail trees growing over my neighbor's yard. he was paid for it, but never did it. He took my money and ran.

He walked into my yard and pretty much casually quoted me $1,500 and didn't see knowledgeable. Just was not impressed with his demeanor or professionalism.

They were very expensive for what we wanted because at the time, we only had 1 little bed planted and our lawn isn't that big. I had asked them to give me a specific start date, because I wanted to be on hand to answer any questions and provide direction where needed. Prior to hiring them, I told them I wanted a firm day each week on when they would do my yard, understanding that they might have to change occasionally because of weather or other issues, and they promised me that that would not be a problem. I was given a specific day for my yard, and for the day they would start, but they didn't show up. I called to find out why they were a no show, and did not get a call back. They didn't show up the next day, either. They ended up showing up 3 days after I was told they would show up. I told them to leave, because we were going to hire someone else. I received a telephone call later that evening, asking me why I had changed my mind and I told them that they didn't show up when they said they would, and didn't have the courtesy to even call to tell me there was an issue, or even return my call. I was told that they were very busy and I was being unreasonable because no yard service calls when they can't show up, and the norm is that lawn service crews just show up when it fits their schedule. I reminded them that I had actually specified that I wanted a firm day, and that they had told me I would get one. In any event, we did hire someone else (who shows up on our appointed day and texts when he can't).

Came and laid the mulch for the deal that was purchased provided 35 bags of mulch and laid it for 200.00, which came out to 5.71 a bag. Was only enough for the front yard. Told me that he would provide additional bags at 4.00 a bag. So where was the deal for 200.00. 35 x 4 = 140.00

The owner, Chris, was with the crew and participated in the work. They did an excellent job and were very polite.

Chris was very responsive and attentive. He is competitively priced and showed up when they said they would.

Perfectly! I bought their Big Deal for the initial amount of mulch and Chris worked with me to determine how much more I would need and how much it would cost. He came right on time to install the mulch, was super professional, left briefly to get add'l mulch and came right back to complete the job. All non mulched areas were cleaned up before they left and the yard (and other previous dirt areas) look great. Highly recommended for mulch, but for other landscaping jobs as well as I'm sure he'll do a great job at a great price.

Broedell landscape did an outstanding job and all the employees were very nice and professional. I have decided to use them as my regular lawn service. the property I purchased was in total disarray and needed a lot of care attention. These guys really did a great job and I'm so happy I hired them.

We have had this company do our hard for a couple months now and it always looks great! Very neat looking and the owner is very professional and honest which is also great. Definitely would recommend to someone else!He also did my trees when I first talked to him and he made them look healthy again.

Chris Broedell and his team are very thorough and professional, and do excellent work for a very fair price. They mow every two weeks in the summer and once a month in the winter, and take care of weed spraying and trimming it all to look good on my 2.5 acres. They will easily adjust to your needs and schedule if you need more or less service, more or less often. What I like most about Chris and his company is the responsiveness. Call or text his cell phone, you always get a prompt reply. Need something offbeat? No problem. One day they brought in fill for me and helped solve an erosion issue in the back of the house due to storm water runoff. Then they brought in and laid down sod. Most companies want to just cut the grass and be gone. Broedell's will help with any yard needs at all, just let Chris know. Finally, you might think this is odd, but I really like the convenience of their billing and payment system. Most yard companies aren't very adaptable - they want cash or a check as soon as they finish a cut. You will have to always be there, have the cash, or keep mailing checks. Broedell's uses an online system where they email you a link once a month and you pay securely through their accounting software using a credit card. You don't need to be home to hand them cash, or worry about having to write out checks and mailing them. Sounds like a little thing, but it VERY convenient. I have had issues with yard companies in the past, adding on "trip fees" or "rain out fees" or only mowing half the yard because of rain, then wanting the full price, and not mowing the other half as soon as it is dry. Broedell's is definitely not like that. They do the whole job, show up when they say they will, handle problems and extra work professionally, and don't make excuses and try to squeeze you for extra fees. VERY happy I found Broedell's Landscaping!
