BEACON GLASS CO

I called Beacon around 9:30 AM and was asked for the dimensions and description of the glass needed and waited a minute or two while the man in the office checked availability. When told it was in their warehouse, he said that as soon as a crew came back from a job around noon, he'd sent them out to the house. He quoted $295, which seemed about right for a big piece of safety glass, including installation. The two guys called a half hour before arriving and came right on time and got to work. They were professional, knew just what they were doing, cleaned up the broken glass and slider track quickly as they worked and got everything back together in perfect working order… tweaking a bit for perfect fit. I was very impressed at how polite, proficient and tidy they were, in and out in little over an hour. The price was as arranged. One could not ask for a better glass repair experience.

The job was done well, but, it took a long time for them to schedule this small job in. Repeated calls until finally the estimator did it himself. They did charge us $40 less than quoted, because we removed the plastic framing ourselves. That was a totally unexpected surprise. Work was done quickly and efficiently and cleanup and removal done satisfactorily. The tint on the glass does not match the top windows, but I can only assume that is due to fading of the original windows.

I thought they were very nice. They did a good job. They cleaned up very well when they were finished with the work, which very much impressed me. I would use them again for more work in the future when needed.
