+ -1 moreHe showed up and did the work fine. However, I also paid for him to return to install a sand filter. Never could get him back out, so I gave up. Wish I could find a reliable plumbing company. Also, the pump does not restart correctly, so I have to turn it on, wait for the pressure to turn it off, then turn it off until the pressure goes down again. Wish I could find a competent plumbing company.
Description of Work: hooked up a well pump for me.

+ -1 moreDue to Tropical Storm Isaac, our entire property was submerged under water, as well as the preasure switch for our well pump motor. We had absolutely no running water, and were unable to flush the toilets. We also knew that numerous companies try to take advantage of homeowners, especially when there has been a natural disaster. The guys from Affordable And Dependable Pump And Well Service were the complete opposite of that. They fixed the switch within half an hour, and they didn't double there price because it was a national holiday (Labor Day). They were beyond perfect, the price was fair and neighborly, and we've scheduled regular service with them to begin in October 1, 2012. Please rest assured that you'll get amazing service and extremely reasonable prices when you call this company.
Description of Work: We had absolutely no running water, and were unable to flush the toilets, wash clothes, Etc.. The preasure switch for our well pump motor was damaged. They fixed the switch within half an hour and restored our water flow.

+ -1 moreShowed up when they said they would, had the tools and knowledge to get my water restored in 20 min. These guys are the best well / pump / filter guys I have found. Use them!
Description of Work: Woke up and had no water pressure, checked the breaker and it was fine. I called at 7 AM on July 5th, left a message and Richard got beck to me in 15 min. He put me first in his day, and showed up to discover the switch had failed, and was able to fix it with our any fuss. It is nice to work with people who know what they are doing, and are humble about it! I met Affordable when they drilled a new well and complete filtration system to my neighbors house in the Farms. I was envious of their clecan order free water and water pressure. I now use them for all my pump needs - pool, home, sprinkler and pond. They are the real deal, treat you square and have the parts and knowledge to get it done correclty. I have been inthe Farms for years and have had unfortunate experiences with others. Call these guys and rest easy!

Description of Work: I called Richard at Affordable and Dependable Pump and Well to reevaluated my water quality after another well company sandbagged me for more than a month. The other company had determined I needed to spend $1200.00 on a new well. Then could not get around to drilling it. Richard came out the same day I called. Determined I did not need a new well that simply adding the proper filters would work. He was even open to reusing equiptment a friend of mine had given to me. He re-plumbed all the loose and leaking fittings and now we have great tasting and smelling water !
