Description of Work: I phoned this morning (Saturday). The fact that it was Saturday did not effect price or availability. I recently purchased an investment property in east Boca Raton, built in 1968, it needed some updating. Talley arrived on time. The dispatchers were diligent in keeping me informed about arrival time.(this was important as I do not live in this property). Talley was professional and polite. His expertise was apparent. I needed a new shower valve installed in the guest bath. He was careful not to damage the newly refinished tub. He had all of the parts on his truck. The master bath had a new vanity so the faucets needed to be hooked up. Both tubs needed spouts. I provided one, he provided the other. He replaced 3 original hose bibs with Very high quality parts. I should have prefaced this with the fact that I had tried over 7 previous plumbers in the previous 2 weeks. One showed up and was terrible, causing damage.. 5 of the others stood me up or at least failed to come in the 2 hour window agreed upon. 2 gave quotes based upon $125/hr which I find absurd. While I could not pin Admiral down on their hourly rate, as it turns out, their prices were far better than others. They have a minimum price of $125 but the estimate was free and with no obligation. What's $125 for plumbing anyway? The unreliable plumbers I had previously contacted may feel there is no harm in not showing up for an appt, but at a monthly rental of $3,000, that's $100 a day. I lost $1500 in rental income I was so happy with all aspects of my dealings with Admiral. Admirals pricing was excellent....far better than other quotes I believe he said that the parts he provided came with a 1 year warranty.

+ 0 morePrior to this I had a good experience with the company with the replacement of a toilet. I called first thing on a Friday morning, 8 a.m. A real person answered the phone, heard my problem with the water heater and promised me someone that day. Two hours later she called back and told me someone was on the way. They arrived around noon, and diagnosed the problem as a replacement of the heating elements and thermostats. The work took about an hour to complete. With the Angie's List coupon it came to only $200.00 I can't emphasize enough how impressed I am. Called early, and a human answers and promises me same day service, then makes good on that promise. The service person shows up on time and is courteous and professional and doesn't try to sell me a whole new water heater, which is what I was expecting. The price was very reasonable. Another great job, Admiral Plumbing!
Description of Work: Repaired a problem with my hot water heater, where the heater was super-heating the water past 125 degrees and the thermostat was not working, I was forced to switch off the breaker.

+ 0 moreThe provider showed up on time within the allotted time window and performed the work quickly. The serviceman was very professional and recommended a product that would help resolve my problem of clogged pipes. The house is old and has built up some debris in the piping from grease and oils, much how cholesterol builds up in human veins. Never felt pressured or hassled like you would a salesman. I would highly recommend this company to do any plumbing work/repairs for wherever you call home.
Description of Work: The provider provided a drain clearing service, as the kitchen sink had been backed up. The provider also checked the drainage of the other drains and toilets in the house to ensure there was no major back-up problem. Also provided insight on future home improvements, as I spoke to him about remodeling the laundry room and bathrooms. Provided the additional insight free of charge and was a great resource.

+ -1 moreI attempted to install a new water filtration cartridge but could not do it successfully. had leaking for 4 days due to not being able to find a plumber, even on THIS website, who could or would help me in this emergency situation. i used the Internet to find a plumber and selected Admiral. did not KNOW they were members of Angie's List because the company name was not prominent when i did a search for "emergency plumbers". most plumbers advertise they are available 24/7 - NOT ALWAYS TRUE!! Ed was pleasant, professional and has the experience necessary to do a job correctly and in a short amount of time. he also offered to check other plumbing issues i had and gave me sound advice on a potential issue. in addition, the receptionists of Admiral are incredibly professional -- it was a pleasure to deal with Admiral and i highly recommend them.
Description of Work: properly installed water filtration cartridge since MY attempt caused leaking under kitchen sink.

Not only did Mike do the plumbing work expertly, but he recommended people outside the plumbing arena to help. He also pointed out items for me to watch. I then had him replace the Hot Water Heater. Lori coordinated all the activities, tiling, vanity, etc from the central office! I own 3 homes and have had lots of work done. This company goes above and beyond!

He provided prices prior to completing work with a full explanation of the work to be done. He cleaned up the work area, and confirmed all items were in working order. He explained the problem to me, told me he could fix it, but also explained the downfall of fixing it. They finished a new installation in under an hour. + -1 moreExcellent experience hiring this company. This was the second time I used Admiral Plumbing. Both occasions were emergency services. I had a water leak from a broken sprinkler system pipe, evidenced by a growing pool of water on the driveway. I called Admiral Plumbing about 5:30pm, explained the situation and an employee was at my home within an hour or so. He worked past dusk, replacing the broken pipes. I was most impressed that the worker cleaned up the mound of dirt that he excavated for the repair, washing the dirt off with the hose. Very courteous, prompt, professional, and reasonably priced, especially for working after normal business hours. I've already referred this company to my boss as well as others, and will definitely use again!

Ryan arrived within the agreed timeframe and assessed the situation. He gave us various options for addressing the problem and shared the advantages and disadvantages of each. After we chose the re-plumbing option, he immediately called in more help and started the job. The workers used quality materials, were friendly, and worked quickly. The entire job was completed in about two and a half days. Ryan concluded by walking us through all the major plumbing areas inside and outside the house to show us the work and explain what they had done. I will call Admiral Plumbing for any future plumbing need and would strongly recommend them to others who need their services.

Thomas was able to cut a small, clean square into the drywall behind the washer and solder on a new valve for the hot and cold lines in less than an hour. + -1 moreService was excellent! Admiral called us the day we scheduled our service to ask if their technician could come a little early, as he was already in our area and had finished another job. Miguel (the technician) showed up within 20 minutes of that phone call, and was very polite, professional and courteous. He replaced 2 valves we needed, as well as inspected the line and gave us the "all good". He figured out that our drainage issue was due to the washer itself and not the drain line. Afterwards he cleaned the floor where he installed the new pipes and valves for us. They also honored the Angie's List coupon we had. We will definitely use Admiral Plumbing again!
Description of Work: Replaced 2 hookup valves for Washer and Dryer hookups and inspected drain line for gray water discharge.

What I find the best about him is he will suggest what he think should be done and then he makes it happen. When he did the first toilet for us, he didn't have what we wanted on the truck, he went back to his office, picked it up and back in 15 minutes later.

He showed me the rust in the inside of the disposal and that is probably why I'm having trouble with it. He recommended I replace it, as it will continue to happen. After giving me the estimate, I had to tell him that I couldn't afford to replace it right now, so he gave me an estimate and left. NO CHARGE !!! He was professional and on time. I will definitely be calling Admiral back when I can afford to get a new disposal. They are awesome! Thank you!

Very precise and knowledgable. He worked to find the issue, price the repair and then left to get the parts and was back to install it in a very quick time.
