Frustrating beyond words!
Description of Work: Awful customer service! I needed the carpet cleaned in my condo. I called the office in Jupiter, FL. I was unsuccessful in scheduling because the woman kept interrupting me as I tried to describe the property. When I asked her to let me finish telling her what I needed, she started arguing with me. I was undecided to use either ServPro or Stanley Steamer and made the mistake of using ServPro. The day of the cleaning ServPro arrived on time however the large commercial steamer fixed inside the truck would not start. It needed a fuse. I called the office and they said they were to far to send another truck or to have someone deliver a replacement fuse. The service person brought forward a portable carpet cleaner from inside the truck and being alone he asked for my assistance to unload the unit from the truck. Being a man it didn't bother me much but, if I was a frail elderly person the job would have had to be cancelled which I should have done. The portable unit looked like the one you can rent yourself from Walmart or the local supermarket. He promised it will do the same job as the large unit in the truck. Reluctantly, I agreed but, should have rescheduled for another day for the service I paid for and expected. The portable unit did good in the normal wear areas but the worn areas I feel needed that extra deep cleaning suction the more powerful unit in the truck would have provided and I expected. Overall, ServPro in my opinion did not extend the courtesy to offer an apology for the inconvenience and should have sent a person to repair the unit in the truck. More important they should have compensated me for not fulfilling the deep professional service cleaning service I paid for and expected. They did not offer a follow up call to see if I was satisfied and offer to re-clean the areas I complained about in a report I filled out with the service technician. Thumbs Down!

Called for an estimate on 1/28/13 and they made an appointment for 1/30/13. They did not show up for this appointment. They rescheduled for another date, and "Dean" showed up as promised. A few days after they came out to do the estimate, I called and asked to speak to Dean. "Jane" said I would have to speak to her, that Dean was busy. I asked when I could expect to receive the estimate. Jane very rudely said "it was only a couple of days since he'd been out there, and I'd just have to wait till they could find time to do it." Approximately one week later, I made a second attempt to find out when I would receive the estimate, to no avail. I called back two weeks later (my third and final attempt) and "Jane" who was even more rude than before. said "they were too busy" to do my estimate. It is now October and I still haven't heard anything from them. Fortunately, I was able to find another, more professional company, to do the work.
Description of Work: I asked for an estimate to clean and fumigate my new house that was formerly owned by a smoker.

Description of Work: When initially contracted, I was told that the company worked with my insurance company often and they knew what to do, The company came out and treated a specific area. This area was treated well. Then I called them out to contract for another area of my home. The employees came out, checked for wet areas and said it was not wet, so they dried the initial area again. The next day my contractor came out, tore out the walls and it was soaked from the second level to the floor of the first level. My insurance company would not pay for the service because it was a duplicate service and we lived several more days with moisture and mold in my home and an asthmatic son. I then recieved a bill several months later giving me 7 days to pay or the claim would be sent to their lawyer and i would be charged attourneys fees also. When I called Serv Pro, they deny any wrong doing, and blamed me for signing their documents. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY KNOW WHAT IS NEEDED AND CHARGE YOU PERSONALLY AFTER AN OBVIOUS MISTAKE.

The service was average. However, they did not explain the costs of their service up front. I was very shocked by the final bill. I felt they were misleading and were not honest with me. I would never use them again nor recommend their services.
Description of Work: My ac unit flooded. They had to remove the rug. They were supposed to disinfect and dry the floor. They were also to repair the dry wall that had to be removed but they did not complete the job.

Emergency service were provided to the member, but she never requested an estimate up front, this was a recommendation by her A/C contractor, we did sanitize the floor and the final bill was $1012.06 which included a discount for equipment usage, from 5 days to 3 days, as a courtesy, at the end we agreed to $ 700.00 final bill as acourtesy to her and the A/C contractor, but she never hired us to replace drywall or finished the job, she told us the handyman would take care of it, she also complained about the A/C contractor claiming he replace the Air handler when it didn't needed. I personally spoke with her and try to settled this claim and she said that $700.00 would be a fair price and agreed to it, just to maker happy. I guess didn't work. I'm very sorry that she does not remember or mention this agreement or final price, I have the invoice and final payment available in case someone would like to see it. We at Servpro of Martin saint Lucie our first goal is customer satisfaction.
