+ -1 moreWe love our new screened in porch! We had multiple companies come look at what we had, and nobody wanted to touch it. But not Darren. He looked at it and said “I can do this’. And he sure did, exceeding our expectations. Working with Darren was great, creating a design that rocked. We wanted a large open view, but Darren said he can go even farther than we imagined. We now have a whole MegaView screen porch and love it. It’s so wide open and doesn’t make you feel closed in. Everyone whose seen it just says ‘Wow’. Darren and Melissa were great at communication, setting and beating the timeline we had, and on budget. This porch was challenging due to it being a pavilion, which has very tight open areas that had to be closed in. Darren’s creativity and solution to doing this was outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend Darren, Melissa and their team at Oceanside Construction. Super nice people and great at what they do.

+ 0 moreThe guys working the job were very polite and friendly and answered any question I had as the work was done. Darren Gall, the owner was on the job met with me before the job started and came to inspect all the work before I paid them and wanted to be sure I was happy with everything. I would highly recommend Oceanside Construction.
Description of Work: After consulting Angie's List I hired Oceanside Construction of Jensen Beach, FL to change out my gutters. They had an A Rating on Angie's List and I had had very good success with other companies I had hired using Angie's List. Anyway, the gentleman arrived when he said he would to give me an estimate, spent considerable time going over extra things I wanted to include and got the quote to me the same day. I called about a week later after getting two additional quotes and told them they had the job but I needed it done ASAP. They promised me a date within one week and arrived right on time. They did a great job, all the extras I requested, some for no additional cost. They also ran into a problem with rotted wood underneath one of my gutters at a corner requiring not one but two fitted pieces of wood. I thought here I would be paying up big time but they did the repair and completely redid the soffit panel which had crumbled from being wet too long and only charged me an additional $35.00 for what was over an hour additional work for one of the guys. He asked if I had any paint to match, which I did and he also came back the next day and repainted and caulked the panel. I was thrilled.

Description of Work: We have used Darren for years to do all repairs for our pool screen enclosure. He also replaced our hurricane shutter panels with hinged shutters that are much easier to operate then panels. He has also done some other misc work around our house over the years as needed.

+ 0 moreI left a message with Darren and received a call back within the hour and he said that he could repair the lanai screen the very same day. He arrived within 15 min of the scheduled appt and performed quality work on the screen...so we expanded the scope of his efforts to a screen on the top of the lanai...he was on the rooftop in 2.5 and did a stellar job. I liked him so much I had him give me an estimate for new gutters on the sides of my home and he said he was dropping off a product sample for me to view before the weekend. Darren is an ambitious individual, professional and believes in customer satisfaction...A+... I'd have him back! A small job may get a lot bigger.
Description of Work: Repaired two 5' x 5' screens on the lanai. Darren was making repairs to work that a non-Angie's List subscriber was performing...pressure washing. One screen was damaged from a previous storm, the other from pressure washing. Darren also noticed areas around my home that were collecting water. I do not have gutters on the sides of my home.

The following warranties are offered on all new gutters installed by Oceanside Construction, LLC. •20-year Gutter Warranty — Covers cracks in gutter, paint chipping, integrity. •5- year Leak-Free Warranty
This warranty does not cover acts of nature, including hurricane, fire, flood, ice, or hail damage to house, roof, or gutter. Any damage done to gutters or accessories by another party will not be under warranty. Warranty is also void if gutters are not properly cleaned. If we determine that the problems that are affecting the gutter are due to improper cleaning the above warranty will be void and a fee will be accessed for cleaning and repair. This warranty is non-transferable.
