Jensen Moving & Storage

Jason, the salesman, was very professional and I thought informative. We walked through the condo and noted items that would move. I also advised that I had 2 storage units so he could correctly price the job. I also told him I would need storage for a short period of time between closing on the condo & closing on the new property. Storage ended up being for 2 weeks. He said he would speak with the owner to see if he could get me a break on the monthly rental since my stuff would only be there for 2 weeks. I was told my stuff would just be put on the floor of the temperature controlled warehouse and not in a unit since it would only be for 2 weeks. Jason later called me to advise he misquoted the storage amount & it would be higher & wanted to negotiate a higher rate! I reminded him that my stuff was only there for 2 weeks on the warehouse floor but he said the owner would not reduce for a monthly rental. On the day of the move, we were told to meet them at the storage facility at 7:30 and the guys arrived close to that time. They loaded everything quickly and then moved on to the condo. I agreed with Jason to have the moving guys pack some misc items like the vacuum, brooms, etc. They did pack everything by throwing it all into a large wardrobe box. They moved quickly and were not too careful with things. One of my TV's did get dropped but did not appear to have any damage. Mover told me if it did not work when we arrived at the new house the owner would make it right. Amazingly nothing was damaged in the large wardrobe boxes. I carefully marked any boxes with glass as fragile. That was a waste of time! They stacked all the fragile boxes on top of one another at least 6 high! At some time, they must have dropped one of the fragile boxes because all my dishes were broken. The box looked damaged when it arrived. I took pics & sent them to Jason. He spoke with the owner who refused to reimburse me since I did the packing. The cost was only $81! Fortunately the dropped TV worked when it arrived. At the new house, I tried to advise where items belonged but they either did not listen or did not care. Boxes that were well marked were placed where ever they ended up. I eventually gave up & told them to put everything in the dining room or garage. Most of my furniture arrived dirty & slightly dinged up. They did not lay down any paper or anything over the white carpet so they tracked in dirt & leaves. The walls at the new house were scrapped as they moved in the furniture. I did not complain to the company about this since they did not care about the broken dishes. They are great as long as you do not care what condition your items or arrive in. The owner will not negotiate anything that does not provide more money for him. The only good thing I can say is that they were on time & worked fast. I am also really glad I will never have to use their services again.

When they got there I walked them thru condo and told them EVERY THING goes. They moved me before and previous crews understood everything means everything. They were slow you could tell they were working by the he. I had to leave and wait for them at new house. Once they were on the way I noticed things missing. Had to send friend to pick up stuff with one of the mover. I over looked this and tipped the guys anyway. Later I got call from housekeeper who asked if I was finished moving lots of stuff left benind . i called them 4 times the next day, no calls returned. i went by office manager could have cared less. today at the closing on the sale of my condo i was asked if i wanted the rest of my stuff. now i am paying someone else to finish moving me. cost of the move $1300 tip $60 cost of completing move $100. Will never use them again!

The 3 guys Jensen Moving & Storage sent were very nice and professional. They were even a few minutes early for our scheduled move. They helped move our family from Ft Pierce to Jensen and really went above and beyond. The experience booking the appointment was great too. They actually came out to assess my move before providing a quote. I felt like I was in good hands from start to finish. I will be recommending to friends and using Jensen Moving & Storage again for our next move.
