tech showed up promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue that the compressor was bad. As our unit is a water cooled geothermal unit, he said the compressor would need to be replaced at an approximate cost of $2500! I was shocked by the price since just replaced another identical unit in our home a few years ago for around $3K. He suggested upgrading to a new unit instead of doing the repair and he sent out a salesman to provide us with a quote. The salesman agreed a new unit would be a better option but said he would quote us a repair and a replace comparision. He guessed the replacement would run $6k-8K. Sticker shocked, I called another HVAC company for a second opion. Creek's A/C service sent a tech who was electrocuted (literally) when he flipped on the breaker to the A/C unit to test it. The tech from Waychoffs had unwired the compressor and left the wires dangling inside the unit (this could not be seen from the exterior). When the power was cut on it electrified the housing of the a/c unit so when the tech touched it he received a heavy shock! After that, the tech hooked the wiring back up and was able to diagnose a bad capacitor and made the repair for us. $220 for the repair vs. $2500--8K was a great relief! Why could the Whychoff's guy not find this as easily as the Creek's guy did? Ironically the 2nd tech shared that he use to work for Whychoff's and said that tech's were incentivized ($$) if they could sell consumers on unpgrading their full systems. I don't know if this is true, but it seems very ironic given these circumstances.

The technician came out on a Saturday the same day I called. The salesman also came out the same day. He quoted me a price. Since this was an unexpected expensive, I was trying to determine the best way to pay for it. The salesman told me that if I used a credit card, that he would have to charge my card that day(before the work was actually done???) The technicians came out the following Monday. They were great! They were on time, very friendly and explained everything to me. Now as far as the salesman goes, not so good. I decided not to get something that I originally requested. I called the salesman 3 times and left a message regarding a refund. He never called me back. He did the walk through on Monday, July 31st. I had a concern about something with the unit. He told me that someone would call me the next day and make an appointment for a technician to come out. It has been almost 2 months and I haven't heard a thing. I was satisfied with the installation and the price, but service after the sale was not good.

This review is a late, however I wanted to take the time to say "Thank you" for the prompt and professional service. When the technician came out he took the time to explain what happened with my unit. I never felt like he was trying to "sell" me anything, instead he wanted me to understand the basics about the unit and extending its life. Thank You...

Told me I needed a $5000 new air conditioner and that my unit was so "old" they couldn't even get parts for it. I rejected their proposal to install a new unit and as the service tech ($86) was leaving he asked me to pray for his company! I called someone else who checked and found that my air conditioner was installed in 2014 (I have lived in my home for only a few months) and it simply needed a charge of freon. A small leak was repaired. Cost: a few hundred dollars, NOT $5g.

I'm on a contract. I don't know the cost. It usually takes an hour to complete the check-up.

We were very pleased with their work and will continue to use thm.

Techs were on time, courteous and hard working. Install looks great and they cleaned up the area before they left.

On responsivenessness, they were pretty quick. The guy was very nice. I even wrote to them to tell them that he was very nice.

Service technician Seth arrived on time Saturday 8/12/17, and diagnosed issue. He was here for 7 minutes and I paid him. Motor was not in stock and I was told it would be Monday. Fast forward to Tuesday 8/15/17 at 12:22 pm and a new service technician called me to say he would arrive within 30 minutes. When technician arrived, he said the office had given him strict instructions to receive payment up front. He proceeds to tell us what he was told happened Saturday 8/12: we locked the technician out of our home for an extended period of time and refused to pay. Of course I became extremely offended-- wouldn't anyone? I called the office and asked for an explanation. The person who took my call, Tiffany, was abruptly rude. She told me I would pay the technician up front, or they wouldn't install the motor. After 4 days of suffering in a 95 degree home, I had no choice. I will NEVER use Waychoffs again or recommend them to anyone! To Seth the technician: you are a LIAR. I will pray for you.

They are very responsive. I made an appointment and two days they came out. They were pretty good. They were very professional.

Tech sent the same day I called and found the blower motor inop. Part and tech scheduled to be out next day. Jason arrived with parts required and had the unit back up and cooling in less than a half hour. Jason has been the tech who has performed previous repairs here as well as performed preventive maintenance. He is always timely, respectful and professional in every instance.

Work was performed efficiently and Shawn was very helpful and explained things thoroughly. He made additional recommendations to improve A/C system, and we will use Waychoff's again for these.

I wouldn't do business with anybody else because of their professionalism

Steve was my technician and he was punctual, professional, and polite. He showed up at the scheduled time slot and gave me a phone call 30 minutes ahead of time. He pointed out some additional components that needing replacement (capacitors) in my air handler and condenser and offered to replace them for the additional service charge but I declined and opted to replace them myself. Very pleased overall with the service.

Service was great - came out the following day I called. Replaced the whole system. I had a 10% off. Very helpful and friendly.

Condensation was leaking and had wet surrounding carpet (unit is inside closet in home). Young man showed up about an hour after I called. He was very professional and had stopped leakage and cleared plugged line. I signed up for a year of inspections.

Max arrived promptly. Turned out, it was a blown capacitor. Max had the part, installed it, checked air handler and overall system since he was out. Very professional technician!!

Not very happy with them.?We were using them for our home and our business. And we found that they were trying to up-sell us on something that wasn't broken at our business, and so we stopped them completely. We did purchase their yearly, but we're looking to find someone else actually. I wouldn't refer them or give them a high rating at all. They were clearly trying to take advantage of us. They were high, but that wasn't a deciding factor for us at all. They were quite responsive, actually. When we called them, they came out. Even when I called to let them know what has happened, they were very apologetic and offered to do a bunch of things, so that was not bad.
