This is the first time I have used this service. I know nothing about air conditioners and am a new homeowner. The person I talked to on the phone was very friendly and informative. The person who came and did the job called about half an hour before he was coming by just to ensure me he was on his way, and he did come by when expected. It was an easy fix (something I could have done if I knew, but now I know), but he did check all other components of the a/c just to make sure nothing else looked like it needed to be repaired or replaced. He offered me a maintenance plan, which I politely declined, but he was friendly and professional. They also have an app on the company iPad that will take payment as credit and you can just sign the touch screen. If anything else happens to my a/c I will probably call this service again.

Very prompt with setting up the appointment. Showed up on time for the appointment. Walked me through the functioning on the A/C and pointed out what needed replacement etc. Did not try to sell anything but did exactly what was needed. The house was closed for almost 2+yrs(foreclosure) and I wanted to make sure the A/C was in a good condition, he pointed out small issues I had and even cleaned the unit with thier GREEN solution, brought need A/C filters and replaced the existing one for a small cost. Overall completely satisfied with the service performed and would surely use them in the future.

They were prompt and fixed everything. The service person who came out was very helpful. there was one thing they missed but they came back out right away and fixed that too. I have no complaints, they did a good job. I dont really know what it was supposed to cost so i cant really give an opinion on that

I got a lot of bids for my project and overall Waychoff came in best and also gave me some discounts. They were very responsive and really wanted to help. They did everything the way a pro would do.

I had three AC systems at 2 houses inspected under a super deal. This was terrific and well worth it. One house was just purchased this year and he went over those HVAC systems in detail with me including continued maintenance. In addition, while the technician was there, he was able to repair a problem found during one of he inspections and right some original design flaws that I already knew about. The repair costs were very reasonable, executed quickly and good quality. The technician was very nice and professional.

I called on a Sunday evening. Luckily, someone returned my call that night to set up appointment for the next day. The technician was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was so happy to have my a/c fixed so quickly! I will definitely use them again.

They responded promptly and answered all our questions. We feel they did not fully investigate the problem on a weekend evening call but repaired it. Subsequently had another problem which they quickly identified and have had no problems sense then.

Rick Waycoff, the president, was personally involved from the initial sale, through the installation and performed the final walk-through. I had used Waycoff a year earlier when I nicked my Freon line. Over a year later Rick applied the credit from that job to this one. Rick provided the quote in July and continued to honor the quote even though I didn't have the work performed until October.

What a refreshing experience. They scheduled my repair service for the next day and for a 2 hour window. They arrived right on time and were very professional. I pretty much knew what the problem was and they confirmed that diagnosis within a matter of minutes. They fixed the problem and didn't try to sell me a new A/C (I have an older unit). Unlike others, if you call for a repair service, they actually send a competent repair technician and not an A/C salesman. Very good prices and they were in/out within 40 minutes. Strongly recommend.

I received a direct mail piece on the day I was considering calling for two heat/ac units that had gone down. Response was very quick and one unit was an easy fix. Just a service call charge. The other needed replacing of which I was aware. Tracey Poor came out and gave me several options. I really liked having the less expensive one be with 10 year parts and labor warranty. They appeared on Monday am as promised and two techs quietly and neatly replaced the handler, compressor and thermostat. I feel very confident about this company as being of high integrity and professionalism. It's only been a day, but I'll let you know if there are any issues.

Repairman was extremely cordial, knowledgeable, and forthcoming. He thoroughly tested all possible sources of the problem, and found need for new fan motor. Quoted price (showed me the model and list price), and was quick to go pick up the part and come back to install it the same afternoon. Explained what was needed, showed me proof of the problem, and also checked out other areas of the system to help insure better operating efficiency. I really appreciated this service rep.

They were wonderful. We were very impressed and happy. We can't say enough good about them. There were no extra charges. They came out, checked the air conditioner and cleaned it and vacuumed around it which really impressed me. I can't believe they vacuumed around it but I was happy they did. We had leaves and things like that around our area so it's not very hard for that to get messed up. I really felt like the gentleman that came out knew what he was doing. There was no pressure tactics. You never felt like they were looking at the money line. They were looking more for the honesty line. I was looking to find someone to service my air conditioner on a 6-month basis and I'm going to purchase that. He said to me, "you've already had this done, you can just wait until the 6-month period before you sign up. There's really no reason to pay for it again" and I'm thinking they're wonderful. And, you do have perks whenever you have it on the 6-month basis like discounts for service calls and things like that.

Salesman and installers were knowledgeable, courteous, timely and professional. Installation was completed in six hours and cleaned up better than they found it. OUTSTANDING JOB!

Being new to AC Unit Purchase/Replacements we were seeking education on what we truly needed as well as a quality unit. We sought bids/estimates from over 7 AC Firms in the Jacksonville/Saint Augustine Area. Waychoff was only one of two who responded timely and actually submitted estimates. Most of the providers did not even call back or bother to schedule the appointments. From initial contact through the final walk through Waychoff's was always timely, prompt and professional. They did a thorough pre-installation inspection, assessed our needs, educated us on their products and benefits of each. They listened to our needs and gave us a variety of options to meet our needs and price range. They were aware of our areas providers rebates and energy tax credits. Installation was right on schedule.Our sales person Tracy was always available and always took the time to explain the process, ensure our needs were being met and followed through after the installation and ensured we were satisfied with everything they did. We did have an issue discovered after installation and the problem was immediately addressed and remedied without hesitation. There was no up-sell or pressure to purchase anything that was not necessary. The price quoted was the delivered price, no surprises. I highly recommend Waychoff for AC Purchase and installation. There is no other firm that is comparable in our area from our experience

freon low; would have cost $75 more to add--used someone else because they wanted me to get a whole new ac inside and out due to age of system. I am happy with the cooling and had freon added by someone else. Will see if the system will keep going for this season at least. It may be a slow leak. Heard that the newer systems are not as reliable overall and don't last as long so I'll put off as long as feasible. Didn't like that the rep was all about selling me a new AC system instead of working with what I currently had. Didn't try to find the leak or treat the mold in the air handler. In the past reps would spray the air handler with Lysol while they had it open. Finding the leak would involve another visit and more money so I'm happy to wait and assess freon levels again later.

After a home inspection found some issues with our home AC system I called Waychoff's to make the necessary repairs. The technician was on time and very professional. He was able to make all the needed repairs (including removal of two dead rats) and recommended some service that could improve the performance of the system. Overall I was very satisfied with the service and would use them again.

It went pretty good. It was fine, no issues. They're good. I didn't have any issues. Everything was installed when it's supposed to be and it works fine.

Our air conditioning had stopped blowing cold air; so, I called Waychoff's early on Friday morning to see if they could come out that day. They quoted me at $85 for them to check the unit, as the coupons on Angie's List only apply for working units. She also told me that they offered a $50 coupon online for the actual repairs, which immediately worried me. That is a very large coupon, which can only mean that the repairs will be expensive. They originally scheduled us for 2-4 on Friday, but then they called me back and said it was actually going to be between 12 and 2. They came by around 1:55. We have two air conditioning units, one of which was still working well. When they came by, we asked if they could also check the other unit, since the coupon was for working units. They said it would be an additional $85 diagnostic fee, despite the fact that it wasn't broken. They told us our filter was causing a lot of problems, that we needed six pounds of freon, and that we had at least one leak, but more likely multiple leaks throughout the venting. They said there was one visible leak outside, but they said it would cost $285 to repair it, and it likely wouldn't hold for very long. And, there were likely more leaks so it may not fix anything. They said they charge $85 per pound of freon, which would be almost $600 with the service fee, and that there was no way to tell how long that would last or if that would even solve the problem. At this point, I was almost in tears, and it was sweltering in our house. They did offer an alternative solution. Instead of wasting our money on these temporary fixes, we could just put that money toward a new unit, which, coincidentally, they sell and install. A new unit would cost around $4000, and, kindly, they offer financing. And, if they came back out to install it, I could get my $85 diagnostic fee back. They did not offer any other solutions, other than to turn the fan on to circulate the musty air and maybe get our other unit to help cool off the whole house, which inevitably would put a lot of stress on that unit. So, we paid them $85 for a sales pitch, and they left, after we declined their generous offer to schedule an official sales pitch. Desperate, we had to call another company to replace the freon for a fraction of the cost a few hours later. This time we went with him to inspect the unit, and the visible external leak was at least partially fixed by tightening a bolt. I don't know much about air conditioning units, so, I don't know how long this fix will last. But I do know that the service men from Waychoff did not make much an effort to help us and were, at best, neutral to our plight. At worst, they realized how desperate we were and left our unit in disrepair knowing we would have to call again. It also felt like the price structure was intended to limit the attractiveness of repairs and convince home owners that replacement was the only way to go. As a result, I do not trust their advice. I will not be using this company in the future.

It went well, A/C tech arrived on-time was very knowledgeable about the A/C unit. Cleaned coils, checked feron, changed inside filter and put bleach in unit drip line. Gave helpful hints about keeping A/C unit running well. I would recommend this company to anyone and would use them in future. Got good value for price.
