Description of Work: I joined Angie's List specifically to find an honest and reputable AC company. After questioning the costly 'needed repairs' and/or 'recommended total replacement' of another company, I scheduled a second opinion from Waychoff. Their technician was timely and provided a different perspective. The air handler was in good shape and required no service. The condenser needed a capacitor and a little freon. Hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars difference between the two companies. There's no doubt that when it's time to replace, I'll be calling Waychoff.

Description of Work: I called Waychoff's at 9pm on a Saturday night because of the glowing reviews on Angie's list. The kind lady I spoke with asked if I needed somebody to come out right away, or if Sunday morning would work (Sunday morning, at no extra charge! Also free service call with Angie's list coupon). I explained that Sunday would be just fine. The technician Jason arrived at the agreed upon time & systematically diagnosed the issue. While doing the work, he explained to me what he was doing and answered all my questions. It turns out, the kickstart had gone out and he had the part on hand to complete the repair. He also went into detail about an annual maintenance plan they offer which includes a diagnostic & 2 cleaning/check visits for $189. Jason's great workmanship, and thorough explanation sold me on the maintenance plan. A/C blowing cold again, and I feel I've found a trustworthy company to do business with.

Description of Work: routine check up I had been paying 250.00 per year for. The special was advertised for 99.99 and is apparenlty an auto renewal which I did not catch in the ad. Tech did find a problem & was repaired for 168.00? or so. The system seemed to be working fine so being the skeptic I am I, in my mind, questioned the need for the repair but one must rely when one has no knowledge. If you take your car in for a free brake inspection you'll probably need brakes

Description of Work: I was pleased that they tested the air quality in my house with a week long test. And if I had bad quality air, the company had a solution to ensure perfectly clean air. Solution was costly, tho.
