Rex and crew did 2 complete bathroom remodels for us. They were professional and responsive to our needs. We would highly recommend them to complete major renovations. We will be looking for them to complete our kitchen in the near future.

The drawers have yet to be delivered and installed, and finally installation has never occurred. This processes started about eight months ago. Had they completed the job, they probably would have gotten and A rating, now we are probably looking at small claims court.

Home Depot arranged my new kitchen cabinet installation with Wagner Construction and advised that I call them immediately after receiving a delivery date for the cabinets. I phoned Wagner and left a message, but no one returned my call. Over the next three days, I called several times, trying to set up an installation date, and talked to various people who were very courteous and assured me they would call back, but they never did. I finally had to complain to Home Depot to get on Wagner's schedule. I discovered that one partner in the company had resigned abruptly and left the owner, Rex Wagner extremely short-handed and overwhelmed. Rex Wager's wife, who I spoke to first, apologized, as did Rex, when I finally reached him. He said that I would receive a call directly from his installers with a scheduled day and time. But, that never happened. The installers showed up without notice one morning, and I was totally unprepared. They offered to help, but ended up waiting while I rushed to empty my old packed cabinets and clear the counter, which took almost an hour. The new cabinets had been delivered a week before and were sitting in my garage in the humidity, so I was anxious to have them installed. So, I changed my plans for the day and stuck around while the men removed the old cabinets and installed the new ones. I was SUPER impressed with the two installers who showed up. They hadn't been told they were supposed to phone me to schedule my job beforehand. However, they were extremely professional, pleasant and did an outstanding job installing my new upper cabinets. They had to removed my microwave, re-locate wiring and re-install the microwave the way it should have been installed. (Sears had installed a new range and microwave two years prior, and the microwave was not only mounted too close to my range-top, but was being held in place by only a couple of short screws). The Wagner installers took the time to, not only re-install the microwave the way it should have been to be safe, but they left to buy new decorative molding to add above the new cabinets. They went way above and beyond my expectations and did an absolutely beautiful job! When one of the hinges worked loose a month later on one of my cabinets, one of the installers from Wagner, received my call, returned it promptly and came on a Sunday (on his own time) to repair it at no added cost. He even refused to allow me to pay for his gas or give him a tip. I've had no problems since. Although we got off to a rocky start, I believe the disappointments and frustrations I went through initially were totally reversed upon completion of my installation. Everyone who visits my home raves about my new cabinets and how perfectly they were installed. I would not hesitate to use Wagner again, but hope after reading my review, Rex will take the time to return calls in the future, regardless of how busy he is or how difficult the circumstances become.
