+ -1 moreOverall the service received from Veterans Moving and Storage was excellent. Over a several day period during the quotation period they were contacting us on a regular basis regarding our requirements and assured us that everything would be handled in a professional way and not to worry. And, it was! The drivers and assistants showed up on schedule, carefully packed what needed to be packed, loaded their truck and then transported our household furnishings to California. Upon arrival at our winter home in La Quinta, the truck was unloaded and our household belongs were brought into the house and placed exactly where we directed. Empty boxes and trash were removed by the driver and his assistants with no mess, nothing broken, everything perfect. We couldn't have been more pleased with the overall service, from the time of the initial quote, to time of delivery. The management and operations staff at Veterans Moving and Storage could not have been more pleasant to work with!
Description of Work: Veterans Moving and Storage provided a cost estimate for the transportation of our household furnishings from Washington, DC to our new winter home in La Quinta, CA. They were able to determine the overall size and weight based on the information we provided in order to provide a quote. Their estimate included the total time of packing, shipping and delivery. They then provided the over the road transportation from Washington to in home delivery at La Quinta.
