Description of Work: The panal box was too small, so they doubled up sensors and this negated some of the features. Also they messed up something with my A/C and they told me I couldn't prove that they did that.

Description of Work: They installed a new system over our prewired ADT alarm system for free. They also had a special at the time that we received the first six months for free. They showed us how to use the system thoroughly. When the alarm was triggered the company called back immediately to check if everything was alright. Prices per month were better then competitors prices. Dealing with them was a great experience!

Description of Work: I requested Certified come out to repair one of the window pieces as the device basically crumbled.

Description of Work: Certified Security has been taken over by Vector Security, a national security firm. However, Vector has retained the "old" hands here in Jacksonville. In late July we requested a quote and two people (Dave and Ely) came to inspect our house and our existing system. They were extremely polite, professional and thorough. Our old system is different than Vectors new systems, but the Vector reps said they could work with our system and monitor through their network. They did not try to "sell" us their own system. They covered all aspects, explained the existing system and monitoring points, then scheduled an "installation" visit. On the "installation" date, the technician called in advance of the scheduled time and was at the house at the designated time. He was efficient and thorough in connecting our system. Everything worked as promised. In the past two days a "trouble" light came on (did not affect the system) and we called the office and they responded within a couple of days. The second technician (Andrew) was also excellent and fixed the trouble light problem and answered all our questions again. We are very pleased with Vector/Certified Security and would highly recommend them!

Description of Work: Certified Security is awesome. I called and spoke to several people who were very nice and could work with my schedule. Very informative and also let me know that no one was sub-contracted and also do background checks on all employees. Mark is the gentlemen that showed up on time, I was actually running a few minutes behind due to rush hour traffic. Anywho, he was very polite and knowledgeable showed me the model and even tested it. They do have specials, just make sure to ask, but Mark does mention the specials to you. The day of installation, Frank was the one to install, he was actually available early and called and let me know. He arrived and was very polite, nice and very knowledgeable. Frank had let me know he had been working for the company for over 10+ years and let me tell ya, you could tell. It did not take him long at all. While, Frank was installing, Mark even came by to make sure everything was going smoothly, which was nice. Showing me their company takes pride in what they do. Frank was even nice enough to play with my dog, whom of course didnt like him at first but became his best friend by the time he left. I would def recommend this company to anyone, especially Frank and Mark.

Description of Work: Certified Security Systems does the alarm stuff for our business and home.

Description of Work: Had alarm installed by Certified Security. No down payment. Talked me into getting smoke alarm, $200. They scratched my kitchen table (accidentally) when lay something down on it. Talked to supervisor and he agreed to refund me the $200 for smoke detector in lieu of scratched table; he made good on promise, sent ck back to me. Week later, alarm not working properly. Tech comes out, says someone has cut telephone lines and this will be $200. I am furious. Contact another supervisor and advise no one has been to my home since install and no one has cut my phone lines. Tech upset, I am upset. Supervisor says he will talk to tech in morning and call me back, but not to worry, we will work something out. I never did get a callback, but they also never billed me, not even the $30 which is standard when they send out a tech. Since then I have started making my monthly pmts. (About $33 a month) and have had no further problems. I say they're easy-going, and bent backwards to please customers.
