Hi, this has been escalated to Daniel Ortiz Insurance company vendor for residential low slope manufactured home hurricane related re-roof . Strongly pushed to Flintastic 2 ply on bare wood to replace shingles. Installed without rollers. Ceiling leak related to installation, so crew cut membranes and did a terrible patch. Ceiling was opened, and replacement insulation was 50% R rating of the debris insulation. Tar type residue in various places on white roof and a stone walkway. Rolls, ripples, bubbles, and ridges on cap. Permit was pulled for a completely different job, and job was called "finished" based on the unrelated inspections. The company manager stated the product was warranted to 120mph (it's 54mph). The product warranty was also shorter than represented and might be void based on the fsilure to follow installation instructions.

We drove around the neighborhoods to find the roof for our tastes. We told the salesman, Kenny, and away we went. As soon as the solar panels for the pool were removed from a separate company, the roofing crew showed up bright and early. Hernando was the crew lead. They were impressive, like Ninjas or water spiders, working as a team. They worked virtually 13 straight hours for 2 days and finished by midday on the 3rd. All of this in the Florida heat! Everything was cleaned each evening, the plants were protected, the screen over the pool was protected. At the end they made numerous trips around the house to clean debris and confirm all was done correctly. We feel the crew went out of their way to make us happy. And they did. Joe came several days later, walked around the house, took photos, and asked for any feedback and if anything else needed to be done. On the administrative side all was done properly, by the book, and several times we had visits to confirm that we were happy with the work. You cannot go wrong with this group.

If you’re looking for a professional, thorough, and friendly company, Turnkey is for you! There was a brief hailstorm that came through Jacksonville a couple of years ago and, although we knew this damaged our roof, we kept putting off the repairs due to our original insurance claim being denied. After starting to see the results of the leaks more prominently, we decided it was time for a second opinion and so we went on Angie’s List and sent out a few messages to local contractors. Turnkey got back to us right away and within a few days, Juan was at our door – business card in one hand, ladder in the other! The inspection was so thorough, and Juan talked us through his process as he made meticulous notes of the damage. Although his suggestions were exactly what we were looking for, and more, we were concerned about the price as we would most likely have to pay for all of it out of pocket at this point. As it turns out, that thankfully wasn’t the case! Once we expressed our concerns to Juan and showed him our denied claim, he referred us to John Parker, a local public adjuster who works closely with the company to ensure customers are receiving fair treatment from their insurance companies. This process took approximately one year but, in the end, the updated claim was approved (with no court proceedings involved, thankfully), we got a brand new roof, and we only had to pay a small portion of the cost out of pocket. As for the service itself, it took approximately 1 week. The crew got rained out one day and ended up coming on a Sunday just to stay on schedule – talk about dedication! Every day, they started at 7 am and did not leave until dark. At the end of each day, they cleaned up all their scraps, took a magnet around the perimeter to collect the nails, and took everything they brought when they came (tools, ladders, etc.). All in all, I am so happy with our decision to go with Turnkey. I was blown away by their attention to detail and the care they took to restore the roof to a better than new condition. It has been approximately one year since the restoration took place and everything is still as durable and as beautiful as the day the new shingles went up. If you’re going to spend your money, time, and energy regardless, go with Turnkey and get the peace of mind you deserve – you will be grateful that you did!

Turnkey did a fantastic job. From the initial phone interaction, to inspection, and on through the completion of the whole house re-roofing project, everything was done in a highly professional manner and with excellent results. There were no surprises, the work was begun and completed on time, all debris was removed, and great care was taken to protect the shrubs and lawn. It has now been almost one year since the work was completed. The roof still looks great and there have been no leaks or other issues. In my experience, Turnkey is an excellent company in every respect.

We used Turnkey and Kenny L. based on the recommendation of a co-worker who had 2 roofs replaced. It started off slow due to responsiveness of our private insurance adjuster not Turnkey. Kenny L. was always available, personable and very professional. It took a while to get our roof replacement scheduled due to the hurricane. Kenny worked to ensure ours was completed to meet a deadline we had. I did the call the owner, Ben, at one point; however, never received a return call. The roofers did damage panels on our screen enclosure; however, Turnkey replaced them at no cost to us. No issues with our roof or repairs so far. Overall, we are satisfied.

I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of Turnkey Construction. We recently used Turnkey to replace our aging roof and the finished product was not only outstanding, it was done "on time" and "on budget". We dealt directly with the President, Ben Lavarias, and he was outstanding. Everything from timing to cost was reviewed with us by Ben on several occasions and the process was fully transparent...which is a breath of fresh air in this business. Again, I cannot be more pleased with Turnkey and the results. Anyone looking for a new roof or roof maintenance should contact Turnkey for a great experience.

I had an estimate done to replace my roof in November. Due to busy schedules of other contractors, I didn't finish getting quotes until January. I first asked the contractor whether the estimate was still valid, given it had been more than 30 days. He responded yes, so I let the other contractors know I wouldn't be using their services. I just had a couple follow up questions about the services and the price and would've been good to go and sign the contract. So on January 26th, two days after I was told the estimate was still good, I asked these two simple follow-up questions. 1 regarding the Angie's List coupon applicability for the roof and another about getting the price of the gutter installation down to $X, otherwise I would just skip doing that and do the roof only. I chose to email since that had been our only means of communication up to this point. On January 31, I had received no response, so I emailed the contractor again. No response. On February 5, I emailed the contractor again. No response. On February 6, I called the TurnKey office and asked if there was someone else to help me or another way I could get a response. I was told there was nothing they could do and told me to call his cell and leave a voicemail. On February 8, I called the contractor's cell and left a voicemail. No response. On February 14, I called the office again and explained how frustrated I was at this point and explained all the above attempts. They told me there was nothing they could do, but would leave a message for the contractor to call me right away. (They also said he had the flu, but would get him to contact me in the next couple days)... I think you know what happened after that... No response. At this point, being completely fed up with being ignored and constantly getting the runaround, I called the office again today. I asked to speak to someone else so I could escalate this matter and ask that they give me someone else to deal with. What do you know, they said there isn't anything they could do. While not only is this just bad business practices, it is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. I have wasted a lot of time and energy trying to get this done. I also felt that I was being reasonable in allowing them plenty of time to respond, as I know roofers are very busy around here. And if he was sick for a few days, I hope he's better, but that doesn't justify being ignored by the entire company for a month. If they didn't want my business, that would be odd, but I could accept that and move on. So if that was the case, it would be nice to just let someone know of this fact, instead of ignoring them. I could probably have a new roof on my house by now. I know I didn't receive any services from them, but if this is any indication of how they operate their business (and I would say it is), I would highly suggest going another route.

The services went great. We had a little trouble gettiing it scheduled but it was right after the hurricane.

They inspected the roof, said it was fine. Two weeks latter there was a leak and the capping around two roof vents had to be replaced because they had deteriorated in 20 years. They should have noticed this.

Very satisfied by the quality of the work, Kenny was great and responsive and the men who did the work were excellent. We have referred 3 of our neighbors who have also hired Turnkey. Our little neighborhood is looking wonderful!

We just bought a house and needed to replace the roof right away. Turnkey was one of the pricier options, but meeting with Zack and having him explain the process made us very comfortable about choosing them for our roof replacement. Zack was very professional and punctual. He worked with us to have the roof done before we moved in and answered all of our questions. He was courteous and prompt to return all calls. I would highly recommend using them for all of your roofing needs.

when I ordered gave three dates for service. no one ever called me or got in touch with me.. this is 2nd time this happened. ist time was for plumbing, filled out form on line and again no one ever got in touch with me.
