Turners' Custom Showers

This is my second time using this company for closet systems. They did my closets in my first home ten years ago, so when we bought a new house I called them again. Chelsea was my original contact when I called. She came out to measure the closets and give me an estimate. She was punctual and very nice. She emailed me an estimate with drawings that afternoon. She was very responsive to my emails and made changes right away when needed. I was put on their calendar for a few weeks out and they kept that appointment. On the day of the installation they came on time and stayed all day to complete the job. Mike and another guy came to help install that day along with Chelsea. The closets look great and function very well. I'm very happy!

They came out and measured our shower for the glass. That seemed to go just fine. Then a couple weeks later the glass was ready as promised. They arrived at the very end of the time window they gave us. They were able to install one piece of the glass, then realized the rest of the glass was not cut according to the measurements. They had to start all over again and refabricate the glass. A couple of weeks later they came back out and this time were able to install the remainder of the glass, with what seemed to be considerable difficulty. However, the most annoying thing was that they left a pile of metal shavings on our driveway and yard from cutting of the metal frame. We called and let the person answering the phone know this happened, and she did apologize.

They did a very good job, just the silicon applied did look good, I did reported and they send people to replace it.

To begin, I was surprised at how simple and cheap-looking the installed door was. Part of the blame is on me for not paying close enough attention, but they basically installed two simple panes of glass with minimal and cheap looking hardware. The first installation had to be redone because the plastic retainer at the bottom of the door was defective. This plastic piece forms the bottom hinge of the door. For $1100 I would have thought we would have received some real hinges that are installed in the wall. Secondly, the panel that is not hinged, is secured to a marble step by only clear caulk. Twice now the cleaning people have caused the panel to become unsecure simply by cleaning the glass. This is dangerous and I can't believe the design relies on caulking to keep the panel secure. We had Turner's come and recaulk it once, but the door and the installation is such a piece of garbage that I have decided to redo the whole thing with a quality frameless installation. I am now looking for another provider.

I got 3 different estimates for a glass wall in the shower and these guys were the most reasonable (in terms of knowing what to do and price)

We have a very odd master bathroom that needed some help. A large frosted glass partition was installed which helped to give the rom the new look it needed. We also installed shower doors on a large shower. workmanship was excellent and measurements were perfect!

Be very careful using this company. They assume you are an expert on showers and know exactly what you need to say. I had a door installed by them, great door at a great price, only to find out that instead of installing at the edge of my shower lip, which is where I wanted it because my shower is a little tight to begin with, they did it right right in the middle, taking away precious inches from a smaller size shower. I call and discuss it with Justin, who pretty much tells me that I should have known to ask that and they just install the doors the standard way. I don't know about anyone else, but I am not an industry expert on shower doors, which is obviously why I purchased from a company, so I had no idea that I needed to ask to have my shower door be installed a certain way. I had assumed if I needed to ask it to be installed a certain, the industry experts that were installing it would have asked me. Now, because I was stupid and didn't think to ask I question I had no knowledge of asking, I have my shower door installed not the way I wanted it AND there is no way to fix it without having holes in my brand new, very expensive tile! I guess the old saying goes, "buyer beware". If the price is too good, there's a reason for it sadly. Oh and ON TOP OF ALL THAT, I had paid extra money to have 2 towel bars on the doors only to find out that the, again, "standard" way of installing the doors was having one of the towel bars right smack dab next to my toilet!! So now on top of having a smaller shower, I get to hang my towels right next to where I pee. Again, as Justin explained, unbeknownst to me, mainly because the picture he sent was VERY misleading, that's the standard way they have to install the doors and there's nothing they can do. "Buyer beware" or to put it another way, don't expect that you don't have to do your own homework but because you're paying hundreds of dollars to a company expecting they would handle it.

As far as the estimate and measuring , it went without a hitch. The installation was excellent. They arrived on time and were out in minimal time. The doors look great and the installers were curteous and very helpful with telling me about different option I could get Really, the only complaint I have with this company is the way they do their appointment setting. I called on three different occaisions to get an estimate visit set up, and didn't get a call back until the third try. Almost gave up on them. Glad I didn't, they did a great job.

I was very happy with the service provided by Turner's Shower's. The team that came for measurements was polite and professional. The scheduling of appointments was easy and flexible . . they called to tell me when they would be in my neighborhood and if that day/time did not work they called me at a later time (I was not in a hurry for one of the installs).

Called to set up an appointment and the response I received was that I would hear back from Justin in a couple of days. It was explained to me that he sets an appointment then calls the customer the day before to make sure the time is okay. This does not work well for people who work full-time and try to plan their schedules in advance. The lady that answered the phone did not appear to be customer service oriented therefore we did not pursue their help with obtaining a quote.

The install was not without problems but it was not turners fault. A tile cracked twice while trying to drill twice they recommended a tile contractor and the third time it went smoothly. They were always on time and communicated every step of the way

Everything went smoothly. Our only concern was one of the anchor arms at the top was not level. Concern is that it will hold up .

I didn't decide to go ahead with the glass. They did do my glass shower door a couple of years ago. I've used them before and they've always been fine. They are very responsive and come when they say they are going to come but one of the shelves has a ding in it and they said they would get back to me. They said they would give me a call after the holidays and they didn't but I'm not real worried about it because there out like $60 or $70 because I didn't pay in full. It is just a gash in one of the shelves, it is about one inch. I'm not going to waste my time calling them back because it would be an even trade for me. The other shelves are fine. I didn't have any issues when I dealt with them before. They have been one of the more prompt companies. They have always been very responsive before but this was over the holidays. They are one of the better companies.

I was really impressed. I initially requested service via e-mail for estimate on shower enclosure. I received response quickly. I did receive call with appointment time. Employee did come on time for estimate. Estimate was e-mailed to me quickly. Set up install, employee came a little early. Install went very smoothly. I was very happy

They had the best price out of companies that I researched. They did a good job and we will be using them again in 2 weeks.

professional performance of staff from start to finish, from owner to office manager to install technicians; and they got things done in a timely manner and actually "rushed" an install to have it in by 4th of july holiday when we had guests coming in. Thanks, Turner.

We used their show room to pick out the tile. The folks were courteous, clean, and I was really impressed. We had a very good experience with them. We plan to use them for another project.

A friend had recommended them. They were great. The guy who cam out to do the estimate came right on time. He was thorough and polite. He gave me a written estimate via email the next day. The tile guy was excellent. He showed up every morning bright and early. He didn't even take a lunch break. He was a really, really hard worker and I was satisfied with that. Overall it was a very good experience with Turner. Their estimate was the same as another guy and I thought it was reasonable. They were perfect on punctuality.
