I would like to let everyone know about a lawn service company that just DESTROYED several hundreds of $$ of landscaping and his response was....well, it will grow back over time!!! TRU-CUT LAWN SERVICE !! Donald Connelly. Called him and he asked me to call him at first of week... I did and went over....again.... how I wanted edging done etc...and he set up guys to come today... Friday... cut the yard and edge and blow. Reminder that we only spoke about mow/edge/blow !!! I go to appointment today and I get frantic phone call from him... his guys had come to my house... no one here... and whacked off...not cut... not trimmed...but whacked off all my ligustrium bushes on side of house... then they whacked off all flowers on plants in front.. all my scheflaras in back and my honeysuckle vine growing on a trellis and whacked down all my Indian Hawthorne bushes !!!! WHAT ???? He said they did that to be helpful !! Can you imagine...who does that ?? And lawn company... to be helpful ??? It's a mess!!! and then they threw all of this over into the preserve.. which they are not supposed to do.. can't dump there as it's a fine !!! All they were asked to do and all that was ever discussed was to mow/edge/blow and why they would do all of this is crazy!!! Donald said that he didn't want to do my yard now .... like I would ever have these people on my property again.... and he said that it would all grow back in time !!!! Unbelievable !!!! USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Tru-cut did a great job installing a vinyl privacy fence in my backyard. They were always on time and worked very hard in the grueling summer heat to finish the job in two days. I really appreciate their professionalism and good attitudes. The owner answered all of my questions and consulted me on were to place the back gate. They were easy to work with and I would definitely hire them again.

Mr. Connelly responded to my voicemail promptly and set up a date/time that worked around my work schedule for an estimate. I chose Tru-Cut for an estimate because of the good reviews on Angie's list and because they could both clean up my back yard and replace the fence. Of the three companies I contacted - Tru-Cut came through with the most reasonable estimate although it wasn't the lowest. Mr. Connelly was the only one who actually measured the yard and priced out the clean up, debris disposal, and fence replacement separately so I could compare with the other estimates. One other yard clean up estimate was much lower, but I believe you get what you pay for. I'm glad I choose Tru-Cut as they did a wonderful job. The first day Mr. Connelly and one other worker came and worked from 8:30 to around 2:00 in the hot sun and cut down all the vegetation and removed the old fence. Upon my request they cut down several extra small trees that would have been difficult for me to remove. They also fixed the metal gate on the 4 ft. metal fence that surrounds my property so it now works for the first time in 21 years. Mr. Connelly came up with a plan so that I can access this gate to use in case I need to move yard debris easily from my back yard by making it easy to remove a small panel of the new wooden privacy fence. Very clever and will be so handy. Since he was taking the wood to a dump he took part of an old swing set and some old lawn chairs that I didn't want along for the cost of disposal ($25). Mr. Connelly shaped up a large palm tree in my back yard to perfection. It is gorgeous now! The second day the Tru-Cut crew came and built the new fence. The fence wood is gorgeous and looks to be very solidly built. They used 2x4 rails and 6 in wide 5/8 thick pickets which is better than average. Looks much better than the old fence ever did. Can't say enough good about this company. Mr. Connelly is easy to work with and very responsive to requests or suggestions. He is young, but has a good work ethic and truly cares about doing things right. I will definitely use Tru-Cut for future yard projects.

Provider responded promptly to my request for an estimate. Since work was needed on a deck he informed me that the deck needed more than cosmetics and would be happy to give me an estimate on the needed work. Even though I did not hire him for the landscaping work I will keeping him in mind when I decide to do the deck work
