We added on to our house and needed to reconfigure our screen enclosure. Tropical did a great job fitting the screen to the addition. We also had them rescreen the rest while they were there. From the gentleman who came out to do the estimate, the two gentleman who did all the work and the people who answered our phone questions and helped us with scheduling they were all friendly and enjoyable to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH TROPICAL ENCLOSURES BUYER BEWARE I signed a contract with Tropical Enclosures for a screen enclosure in December 2021. The salesman Steven told me it would take approximately 14-16 weeks to start the job. I spent 2-3 weeks trying to line up someone else to do the footers with no luck, and decided to let Tropical Enclosures do the entire job. On March 4, 2022 I texted salesman Steven to please proceed with the job, including the cement footers. We soon spoke on the phone, and Steven said they would proceed. No issues were raised by Steven. After 2 ½ months of waiting to hear from Steven, I had to call him repeatedly to find him. We finally connected in mid-June, THREE MONTHS AFTER MY GO AHEAD. Steven said the engineering came back wrong. He then called me back a few days later and said the “powers that be” (Kevin N. and Scott N.) refuse to honor the contract because too much time had passed. I was furious because from December to the time in March that I gave them the go ahead was well within the time frame discussed. Nothing was said in March about any issues with the contract. Now after three more months of them doing nothing, they want to cancel the contract. Steven agreed with me that Tropical Enclosures would refund my entire 10 percent deposit, as they were the ones cancelling the contract. About a week after my discussion with Steven, I received a check from Tropical Enclosures but they had withheld approximately one third of my deposit, with no explanation. I called at least a dozen times to talk to the owners, Kevin N. and/or Scott N., but my calls were ignored. No one in the office could give me any explanation. No one called me back. THEY JUST KEPT MY MONEY FOR NO VALID REASON. There is nothing in the contract warning that monies may be withheld from your returned deposit. This is totally unacceptable and unethical. These guys are not to be trusted. Buyer Beware!

Paid for 2 screened enclosures so my dog could run around the porches. Paid extra for the Super Screen because it is warranted for 10 years. Was informed by Steven during proposal appointment that the screen was recommended since it was for my dog. They did a great job on the enclosures. However, my screens were damaged by a squirrel and they did not return my call and their voicemail says they are not returning service calls. Why sell warranted screens if you don’t call back and don’t honor the warranty. I am very disappointed in the customer service and their responses to social media. The enclosure quality was good. The customer service and professionalism after they get your money is bad. Therefore, I would recommend going elsewhere that follows through with their warranties and provides reasonable customer service.

We recently moved into a 3 year old home in Ponte Vedra Beach that has the outdoor living area and kitchen enclosed by 5 remote screens that were originally installed by Tropical Enclosures. Two of them malfunctioned the other day and were off the track and stuck. I called the same day and spoke with Nicki in the office who couldn't have been nicer and more professional in getting an appointment set up. Ashton was here within 48 hours and repaired both screens within two hours. He was prompt, courteous, neat and extremely knowledgeable. When he was finished and cleaned up he said there would be no charge for the repair since we new owners of the home. What a nice surprise that was! I would highly recommend Tropical Screens!

Poor job. Did not correct water flow gushing off roof although Ashton and a tech agreed they were not done as specified in the work order.Said they would make it right but never heard from them. Also removed downspout that connected to the house gutters and did not replace. Now a 20 foot gutter has no downspout. This is the 2nd poor experience I have had with the over the years. DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!

I was in need of a new Pool enclosure. Tropical representative came to the house ...I was impressed. He said he would get with his engineer and let me know the details. Not hearing a response I e -mailed him...no response. I then called the main office...I received a call back and was told I would hear something soon. That was 5 WEEKS Ago. My job was awarded to another company

Even though the install process took longer than expected due to an error with the door and kick plate, the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They completed part of the job in the afternoon and came back the next morning to finish the job. Overall we were very satisfied with the work, and as a bonus their pricing was the lowest quote we received. Additionally, they were able to come out and complete the job within a few weeks of the quote, whereas some other companies couldn't fit the job into their schedules until months later.

The B for punctuality is because we did not find out until I called their office the day I expected them that they moved the appointment back two days. I would hire again but would confirm appointment ahead of time.

Horrible, the owner's step son waddled around all day on his cell phone while the other person did all of the work.Work which was done properly. My husband had to ask him to quit walking around on our tile roof, as he was not being careful. They also broke sprinkler heads that my husband had previously pointed out to them.

The job went without a hitch from start to finish. The price was competitive, and the work was done in a timely manner. The estimator made some suggestions we hadn't thought of, and we added some additional bolting work. They did an especially nice job fixing the two doors on the lanai. The company cleaned up the mess when they were done. We were very satisfied with the project. We would highly recommend the company for sprucing up a pool enclosure in need of re-screening and other repairs.

Went well for the most part. Some adjustments had to be made.

This was a pleasurable experience. From estimate to the end. Matt and Casey were on time and finished in the time adequate for the job. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and let us know what was occurring every step of the way. I am having them return to replace more screen. I totally recommend them and will use them in the future. I had three estimates and theirs was the best. I am more than pleased. A+

Work was very meticulous and workers very amiable. There is a small amount of work that needs to be done, however I have not been able to contact him to call me about it.

i was trying to buy a piece for my screen porch and was quoted a price..after waiting for a long time the owner came out and changed the price i was told to way to much for me to afford,,I told them i wasn't happy and wasn't going to use them..nothing back..guess they just don't care..

They came here to a look at what I need and then gave me a quote. My experience with them was good. The quote amount was about $10000. They were professional and I was happy with the process. The price was competitive. I got three quotes and all of them around the same amount.

Tropical enclosures originally installed our screened enclosure for our pool patio area 6 years ago. We have been extremely pleased with it and they did an excellent job. We recently got a hole in one of our screen panels and our doggie door was in need of replacing. It's gotten a real workout with three dogs using it multiple times daily. We have two in our screened enclosure but the dogs only use one of them. We called Tropical enclosures for both the screen repair and replacing the doggie door. They were both prompt and the repair and replacement were taken care of with no problems. We will continue to use them for any repairs needed and would highly recommend them for installing a screened enclosure. Their quality product and work are great!
