Total Improvements

Description of Work: When the job was completed, I walked around the exterior of the house and everything they were supposed to do, seemed well done. After they left, I was called out of town and when I returned several wks later, I discovered the "assistant" had done a sloppy job on the trim work around the windows. From a distance it looks fine but 5-6 feet away it was done very sloppy. Within 3 months the paint on the front door peeled off! I tried to call Don Johnson, owner and boss, but the person who answered the phone said he no longer lived there so the problem was not corrected. Mr. Johnson and his assistant agreed to do a few other "handyman" jobs for me, like repair the gutters over the garage. (The nails had pulled out and the gutters were pulled away from the roof.) It looked fine when they completed "repairing"the gutters but within a couple months the gutters are hanging again and the nails are pulled out. They apparently did not put in new nails and attach them to a new area but just pounded the old nails back into the stripped old nail holes and they did not hold! The assistant also agreed to hang a new side garage door for me. He moved the door from inside the garage to the patio area and after a little while he said he needed to go to Home Depot. He put the door back in the garage and left but he NEVER returned! He wouldn't even answer his cell phone for me nor his boss! The assistant has to this day not contacted me by phone nor come by to say why he didn't return! I picked this company because it was the only one out of ten that I checked on, that provided me with proof of insurance, liability, a valid license (checked with downtown) and gave me references. The price for the jobs I wanted done was in the mid-range of estimates. They were punctual and finished the jobs in a reasonable time but now I am finding they were not all done properly. Overall, I would not recommend this company!!!!!!
