TJ's Express Carpet Cleaning

I went with this company due to a LivingSocial coupon I bought. ($35 for 2 rooms). I was very pleased with the whole experience. Thomas arrived on time and we did a walk through of the 2 carpeted rooms. I pointed out a couple of stained areas that needed extra attention. I was very pleased with the end result. The carpet looked really clean. It was just a bit damp and probably took about 3 hours to dry completely (with ceiling fans running). And, thank goodness, no nasty mildew smell that I had with the last company I used. Also, I have an area rug in the living room that the dog basically lives on. I asked him what he would charge to clean that and he gave me a shockingly low price ($10!!). So, of course, I took advantage of that. I wrote Thomas a check for his services and he left. Within 2 minutes he was knocking at my door. He informed me I had overpaid him. (I forgot that I had already paid $35 to LivingSocial when I bought the coupon for his service!!). Therefore, instead of owing him $45 I really only owed him $10. So, bottom line is that I found an HONEST company that did a great job.

Tom arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. He told us how he would be utilizing a low suds type of cleaning and that the carpets would be dry within 2-3 hours. He went through the rooms and pre-treated any visible stains prior to actual carpet cleaning. The price that Tom provided included the pre-treatment of the stains as well as a raking of the carpets to raise the nap prior to deodorizing the carpets. We have utilized the big carpet cleaning firms in the past and when they would arrive, they would indicate that pre-treatment of stains would be an additional cost and they never suggested raking the carpets prior to spraying the deodorizing agent. The carpets were indeed dry within the 2-3 hour time frame and stains that we thought were permanent disappeared. Based on TJ's level of service, we will not be needing the services of the big national carpet cleaning firms.
