Description of Work: Thigpen was highly recommended by a friend who had obtained 10 estimates to replace their A/C system. Thigpen rep arrived for the initial appt on time. After looking at our inside duct-work, he suggested zoning but wanted to bring his boss with him 2 days later on Friday to see if zoning could be done. The appt was to be at 4 PM but no Thigpen. 4:20 arrived and I phoned him asking if he was coming. Knowing this was the week of the Home and Patio Show, I could understand delays. He said he was trying to locate his boss who was at the Home and Patio Show and said he would call me back. He never did though. I left a message on his phone "assuming he was not coming". Our next by-chance meeting was at the Home and Patio Show on Sunday. When I asked him why he did not call me back on Friday, he said he did and said he left a message. I repeated that he had not phoned me and he was adamant that he phoned me when he had not. I guess they believe it is OK to disagree with a customer. We made another appt on Monday and they did show up. Thigpen emailed the estimate and the form had my phone number as incorrect. This proved that the Thigpen rep did not call me but had called someone else. The quote was higher than anticipated. I phoned Hammond who immediately came out, gave a detailed explanation of work, offered freebies and the quote was 15% less than Thigpen. I will never use Thigpen nor will I recommend them. Hammond will have my business.

Description of Work: INSTALLED TWO AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS AND THREE DIGITAL, PROGRAMABLE THERMOSTATS.
