+ -1 moreThe salesperson I have been dealing with for this company is overly-aggressive and does not follow instructions. He came to my home to do a free estimate. I felt the free estimate meeting was a slick sales pitch wherein he used "formulas" with no explanation for what the numbers represented - I had to be assertive and repeat myselt to get real information on what the numbers in his formulas represented (kw hours, hours of sunlight, etc). He gave my contact information to other companies after I'd instructed him not to. I received phone calls at home saying the salesman asked them to call me when I clearly instructed him via email not to do this. He has asked repeatedly to get in touch with my income tax preparer to discuss tax credits after I'd told him repeatedly I had no interest in him speaking to my tax preparer. This is pushy. If solar makes sense, and if the deal this company offers is a good one, then the facts should be enough alone. The information presented should make sense without the salesman-games. I would assume that most folks that choose solar are intelligent enough to deal with real facts and make choices without the sales games. I will seek other companies with which to discuss solar options and costs or just do without.
Description of Work: So far, I have had a free estimate only and some e-mail and phone exchanges with a salesperson.

+ -1 moreto continue and the damage to be even worse. They finally came back out yesterday, left me a note that they had fixed the solar panel "leak" and would be sending me another bill. This morning, when the solar turned on, the explosion and flood occurred. To make matters worse, they have no emergency contact info and when I tried to leave them a voice message on their business number (option 2) that option was "not available" and a recording gave an Error Message. I don't know how these people stay in business. I have no idea what the cost will finally be, so the $800 estimate (above) is based on Homeowner's Insurance Deductible and what Sunworks has told me they will charge for the two visits. I will now check Angie's List for a new Solar company with which to do business.
Description of Work: I can only reiterate the previous reviewer's comments: DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They are incompetent, unprofessional and their ineptness is costing thousands of dollars in damage to roof, lanai ceiling, attic and interior ceiling. I have use them off and on for years and they just get worse. I have had them out multiple times for a solar panel leak, as recently as yesterday. I am still waiting for the insurance inspector to assess the magnitude of the damage but this morning the solar panels blew out and caused a massive flood. Like the previous reviewer, the pool got dangerously low, massive amounts of water were wasted and there is significant damage to the roof and more. The fact that this time, as they did the last time I used them, failed to fix the leak (indeed, this time made it massively WORSE- see above) over multiple visits, made the damage so much more extensive and expensive. Talk about flakey: "Kevin" left me multiple messages that they were sending someone out "right away." I got home that evening and no one had been there. When I called him the next day to ask him why, he (unbelievably) said that he was "waiting for me to call him back." I told him that he did not say that I needed to call him back in either message but that he was "sending someone out right away." His excuse then became that, at the time that he left me both messages, he did not realize that the house was in a gated community, so he needed me to call him back. He admits that he never left me a corrected message, which allowed the leak

+ -1 moreThey caused roof several leaks on a new roof in several places. The installer argued that they probably did not cause all the leaks. They sent a man, whom English was difficult, that did support that they caused all the leaks. After we had OUR roofer repair them, they paid the roofer. Then for the next few weeks the black pipers leaked on the roof. This caused the pool to get dangerously low (a common cause for pool popping) It took two trips to get the leaks. I requested in an email and over the phone to corporate that they at least give me $50 bucks for all the water loss. "I will pass the message to the owner" was all I got from that. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. All this solar work had lots of rebates. Getting the forms from Sunworks was like pulling teeth. I had to request it on more than 4 times and finally by passed the sales person and went to corporate. They also forgot to call for a final inspection. Finally, The sales person was nice but flaky. Missed several appointments and keep calling back to reschedule like no big deal. I hate waiting for people who have no intention of showing up.
