Sunshine State Seamless Gutters

I called the company and spoke to the owner's wife. She was very nice and was able to have her husband come out on a Saturday to look at the house and provide me with estimates. They don't works on Saturday's so I was very grateful her husband made an exception. He was very punctual and advised me on different options and pricing. He drew up the estimates the same day and showed me their license, warranty, and insurance information. After receiving a few different estimates from other companies, I decide to go with Sunshine State. It is a family operate company and on the scheduled date they came out to install the gutters. Everything went very well and the gutters are doing their job. No hidden fees or extras and I was able to receive a military discount. I would recommend their services to anybody who is looking at installing or repairing gutters.

We had used them before to install a gutter on the west side of the house. We were very happy with them, so we hired them again to install a gutter on the opposite side of the garage where there had been some puddling of water during heavy rains, and resultant water seepage into the garage. As before, they did excellent work. Very professional and personable. They even added a splashguard in the corner even though that had not been detailed in the original (free) estimate. Looks great and works well. Will hire again if we need another gutter or screen enclosure.

The owner was on time and highly professional. I just want to give a positive review to get something on top of the review from the a person who wanted to ruin a lengthly record of 100% satisfaction because a small business took 2 days off and played catch-up on Monday. Walmart might be a better fit for some.

I tried to get an estimate for new gutters and no one was in the office for 2 days...called back on the day they said they would be in the office and got the same voice mail.....I can't imaging running a business with NO body in the office for 2 or more days....if this is how they support their customers I will not be one of them...

Additional quotes were given for two different leaf guard systems as well- all quotes included a 10% Angie's List discount which was very nice to see. Of the quotes I received from 3 different companies, Sunshine State was the most professional. The president of the company, Chuck Fields, came out to provide assessment and proposal, and also provided small samples of the gutter guards systems to have at home to ponder after he was finished. I will most likely use this company when my home improvement budget is fully funded.

Over the last couple of years I have noticed a degradation in the soffits and fascia boards of my home. As an aside the mold and mildew which is continually unsightly and green and black in color has crept up the house. I believe this is in part due to the fact that I do not, nor have ever had, gutters and downspouts! The problem I have always believed, is the fact that water from the run off from the roof seems to pool at the base of the house and that area remains damp much much longer than other areas of the garden. Finally having despaired over the last couple of years and in tandem with the fact that I seem to continually seek carpenters or siders to replace rotting or soiled areas on the face of my home I have finally decided to have the gutters and downspouts that everybody else I know seems to rave about! When Mr Fields arrived I knew he was a consumate proffessional! He took the time to explain exactly what was required and although I initially only really wanted to have two sides of the house guttered he offered me a second additional investment figure to have the third side of the house guttered. This is a flat roof and has very little pitch but I jumped at his offer of having that side added to my original pricing as the addendum to the investment figure was at best marginal and great value for money! The finished product had what can only be described as the "WOW FACTOR" I was actually astonished, the gutters and downspouts were beautiful and crowned the roof area, exceptional work and finished article Thanks so much to Mr Fields and his team!.

They were very courteous and came on time. They work was superb -- we can't tell that there was ever a problem there.

We have a very small section of the front of the house with guttering. This needed replacing ten years ago when we bought the house... but you know how that goes :) I wasn't able to find another company interested in providing services for our piddly 19ft of guttering except for Sunshine State. It took a little time for the estimate to be done (Chuck sure gets around town!) but they were able to action fairly quickly once we accepted the quote for what we felt was a reasonable cost (based on our est via home depot/lowes and how much swearing it might cause us :) ) They included us as an 'on the way home' job after a bigger job that day about a week/week and a half out I think it was. Unfortunately, the guys got here early (1.30) not the agreed time of 3 (when I would have been home from work), and as i'd not known they needed power access (and with us with a blown gfi..) we had to reschedule to that saturday. Two staff were here early on the Saturday (that was a good early!) and were finished and cleaned up in short order. YAY! no more Niagra falls to walk through on a rainy day! Overall a positive experience, with lots of contact from the office. I'd use them again or recommend them to another.

We had a handyman type person install a gutter a few years ago which never performed properly. When Chuck a Sunshine State took one look at it, he said it was the wrong size gutter and not "seamless". So, they gave us a quote we thought was fair and installed the new gutter.

We are very pleased with the results. Everyone in the company was extremely professional and good about returning calls and arriving promptly for the estimate and installation. We look forward to working with them when we add gutters to the sides of the house.

Chuck and his crew arrived at my house at the appointed time and immediately began to work nonstop for about 3hrs and they were done. My 2000 sq ft house is now wearing beautiful, brand new gutters all around its entirety for the first time. I can truthfully say that the gutters work just fine, because it rained for 2 or 3 days straight a day after they were installed. Sunshine Gutters personnel are not only professional and courteous, but very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a good experience using their services and I highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for excellent work done for a reasonable price. I was extremely pleased with the entire process - from the initial response and scheduling through the installation, everything was handled with professionalism and attention to detail. A great company!! Very easy to work with. Came out quickly for an estimate. Chuck even offered advice on other things he noticed around the outside of the house. Very helpful! Rather than trying to rip us off, he wrote 2 quotes as we only added gutters to the portions of the house that needed them. Once we decided to move forward, it was a quick and easy install. We had the gutters put in just in time, as we had a lot of rain the following week and they have worked

Provided a detail plan drawing and estimate. Discussed with me where downspouts needed to go with an eye for appearance. Installers arrived on time and were very professional and friendly, especially considering I kept interrupting with questions. After a couple of good rains I noticed that a couple of areas were not completely draining. Call Sunshine State and scheduled a time for them to inspect the problem. They were very prompt, looked over the problem, and decided another downspout was needed. They had the materials with them, installed the new downspout at no additional charge, thanked me for the business, and left. Outstanding job all the way around. Very happy customer.

Chuck arrived promptly for estimate appointment. Looked over the entire house and suggested where gutters were needed and where they were not needed due to roof size, existing drainage, and roof layout. We planned to install rain barrels and he did not recommend the ones listed on his web site if we had other options. We had already found the web site of Good Ideas through a local store and ordered online the color we wanted. He answered every question, did not try to sell us anything we didn't need, and drew up an estimate on the spot that was well under what we thought it would be. Bev called on Friday to confirm the Monday appointment and the color selections. On installation day, Chris and Chuck (not the estimator) arrived on time and ready to work. There was a slight confusion on our part over one drain that had been discussed but didn't make it to the estimate. Chris was ready to add the change for cost of materials. We decided to add another rain barrel and Chris sized up the system for our future purchase. For installation of nearly half the house with new gutter systems, 2 hours from beginning to end was better than we expected. As promised, the materials used look very professional and have been installed as if they came with the house. Will return to add remarks after it rains!

From the first phone call to Beverly at Sunshine State, I felt confident that I had made the right choice. Chuck came out to give me an estimate as scheduled, and was professional and polite. The work was scheduled a few days later and the crew showed up on time prepared to do the work agreed upon. The work was completed promptly and I was invited to inspect the work and ask any questions before payment was made. I have no doubt that there would be no questions asked if I needed any adjustments or alterations to the work that was performed. I will call Sunshine State for any type of gutter work I need in the future.

Excellent company. Very professional while still being very pleasant. I was given a written estimate, a description of the company, a copy of their business license and a copy of their certificate of insurance. They were on time, did a great job and cleaned up the area when they were finished. The gutters look and work great. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Came out did an estimate and returned the following week and in half a day had our gutters installed! Our gutters are the least noticeable on the street! Great price, great company to deal with!

Chuck Fields with his son and aide arrived 2 hours before estimated time to start job. They installed new gutters on the front & rear of home with hard pipe drains. Work was excellent. I highly recommend to everyone.

The estimator was professional, personable,and knowledgeable. He left me with a handout which included the license insurance statement and a detailed explaination of service to be done. The installers showed up on time and completed the job and left the premises clean. Job well done. No down payment required and credit card was accepted.
