Stone Creations Kitchen & Floors

Description of Work: There was approximately 140 square feet of hardwood needing repair. Stone Creations came to the property, assessed what needs to be done and provided an estimate (see attached image). While at the property, Stone Creation said the work would completed in one day, by three men. Damaged section would be removed, and replaced with new wood. It took three calls to Stone Creations requesting the estimate. The entire house 2,800 square feet is hardwood floor; including the bathrooms. The existing floor was installed using Bolivian Rosewood, purchased from Lumber Liquidator. Bolivian Rosewood is no longer offered for sale by Lumber Liquidator. I called Stone Creations to confirm Brazilian Cherry, same size as the Bolivian Rosewood, is a suitable replacement. Stone Creations agreed. Brazilian Rose was purchased, with prior agreement that Stone Creations will pick up the wood from Lumber Liquidation. The repair was initially scheduled for Saturday. 22. Messages were left for Stone Creations regarding the Brazilian Cherry. When I finally reached Stone Creations, he said it was my responsibility to follow-up with him - since he receives several calls a day. The repair work was scheduled for Monday, July 24. Stone Creations called back on Friday, July 22 to say he was unable to reach the man he had planned to assign the work. When Stone Creations came to assess the damage to the hardwood floor and provide the estimate, he said the will be completed by three men. As of this writing, there has been no follow-up by Stone Creations.
