+ -1 moreI called for an estiamte and the gentlemen was able to work with my crazy schedule and meet me at my home after I got home from work. He showed up on time and even pointed out some very key compents to my addition nether I nor the other contractors pointed out. From there I contacted them to confirm everything we had discussed and we moved forward and with then no time the project was complete. Also through out the construction everyone was very professional and made sure the job site was always clean. I have already recommended them to friends and very pleased with every aspect of this company.

Description of Work: This company was contracted on June 3, 2011 to build a sunroom onto my home. The work began in July and was completed August 2nd, with the exception of the exposed eaves in the room, which they agreed to install soffits. And, the room looked good, after the soffit was installed on 9-2-11, but there is one area that leaks. They have been contacted three times, and their response has been slow each time. The owner promised to come by personally to take a look two weeks ago. A representaive of the company came by unannounced last week and worked on the leaking gutter and sealed some seams. Tonight (09-19-11) it is raining and it is still dripping in my new room. I contacted the city's building inspector, August 30th and was told my property was not scheduled for an inspection. This company did not have the credentials to pull a permit. The permit that was listed was withdrawn or closed out. This company has an ad that runs daily in our local newspaper. It lists a license number. The permit posted at my residence appeared legitimate, but apparently was closed out June 14th, which was before the work began, July 7th. I am now having to request an inspection to make sure the structure meets code and is sound.

+ -1 moreThey broke into my yard twice while I was away on two weekends, and build the structure. I expressly told them not to build it while I was out of town. They installed a non walkable roof, I paid for a walkable roof. This roof leaks to this day. I think they were paying off the Housing Superivor Mr. Bagwell in that I started a state investigation against Southern Home Product. Bagwell cancelled this investigation, and made the owner come out to my house and this man continued to say that it was my roof that leaked versus his structure. Once he agreed to have my roof repaired, he had his people jerry rig the roof, which still leaks and has caused damage to my solfet. I would not have this CROOK in my yard.
Description of Work: Had them build a 9 X 20 enclosed Sunroom.

+ -1 moreTook almost 2 months to get get started, then another 3 months to finish. Six months later, I'm still waiting on them to finish. When I call, they say they'll be out "next week", or that they'll have the foreman return my call. I would tell anyone who is thinking of using this company to NOT DO IT.

concrete repair
+ -1 moreWe had to have them come back three times to fix the concrete. We finally gave up trying to get it satisfactory after three attempts. Now, six months later the concrete is cracking all over and a small crater has appeared about 3" diameter. We also have concrete splattered on the house siding. They also did not install the door where we originally agreed to.
Description of Work: Southern Home Products built a 12x18 screened in porch.
