Highly recommend NOT using this service. They serviced my lawn for over a year never really got it looking good. I had to replace my sod twice thanks to them. After the second sod replacement I specifically asked them to come out twice to spray for chinch bugs. They came out, but 2.5 months later the sod was devoured by chinch bugs now I need to replace for a third time. I finally cancelled their service couldn't even get the owner to have the courtesy to call me back to explain why his pest service didn't work and offer to refund my money. Don't waste your money with this company!!

Extremely dissatisfied with service! Called to ensure no recurring transfers would be occurred and cancelled. The guy was extremely argumentative and when I stated I’m not going to argue being 7 months pregnant he laughed at me and hung up on me.

I have had Southern Green Chemical Lawncare service for several years. My lawn has never looked very good. I started thinking that they are not appying fertilizer to my lawn at an adiquate rate. On October 5 their techician arrived to treat my lawn. I have about a 1/4 acre lawn. Here is what the bill said that he did. Start of fall weed control, fertilized with iron and potassium, insect control as needed. My cameras recorded that he accomplished this by walking around the house with a hand pump backpack sprayer beginning at 4:28 pm and ending at 4:32 pm. FOUR MINUTES. The charge for this service was $65. No wonder my lawn is not doing very well. It isn't getting any fertilizer (that I am paying for).

I received a message on Saturday that the service would be performed on Monday (9/25). The call voice was weak but I was expecting it the service some time that week. I had requested an advance call on the day of service, but that did not happen. My wife was at home and did not hear the usual "knock" at the door, but she did observe the technician. After she called me she said that he was not on the property very long, maybe 10 to 15 minutes. I asked her if she saw any evidence of holes or plugs that the aeration, and not another service, had been completed. She indicated she did not. After returning home from work, I inspected the yard and saw some plugs, but the vast majority of the yard, especially near some bare spots had no signs of spikes or plugs that I had expected. I have seen lawn aeration done on golf courses as well as residential areas - I was very disappointed and immediately contacted the branch rep, who sold the service, and left a message (after hours), but no returned call back the next day. Later that day - Tuesday, I called the local office and left a message to be called, but again no call. Finally, I called and spoke with someone who said they would have the technician call me - I said no I wanted someone in management to talk with me. To the best of my memory, no calls back from the branch, so I contacted the main office - again no real management effort to offer me a resolution - the rep asked me what I wanted - obviously I wanted the proper services for the price I had paid. Well, a week has passed and I have not been contacted in any way, but they still have my payment in full (I know - buyer beware!). It is quite obvious to me that they do not really care about customer service or professionalism.

The price was reasonable, but the customer service is awful. I've called at least 5 times trying to get my initial service rescheduled. Each time I get a recorded message (if you're calling during our business hours we're on the phone and will get back to you before the end of the day). Thus far they either haven't called back or call back to tell me they can't reach their schedule coordinator. I've been trying for over a month now to get an initial treatment scheduled with no luck. I'm now looking into getting a full refund and finding a service I can rely on.

They have been ok until recently. Middle of July they came out for scheduled treatment. I pointed out some brown patches as I have had problems with chinch bugs in the past in that area. Well, the patches are now big areas of dead grass. I have called 3x last week to have them come out and have been told someone will come out then they are in the area??? I expected more responsiveness and given they have been doing my lawn for more than 18 months, big brown patches and blowing me off isn't acceptable. Looking for a new service.

I had one problem and they immediately came and fixed it. I had some weeds and they came and treated it.

They don't come out on a weekend usually. I pay $50 a treatment for my whole yard. For price I gave them a B, I am not really sure, it is hard to tell. Some people pay more and some people pay less. They do a lot for what they do. Sometimes they are not prompt and it is hard to get a hold of them. My lawn is starting to look a lot better. They have improved my lawn through some other stuff. I have to call and find out what they have done. It is really hard their responsiveness there.

It's been 3 months now and they were supposed to be here 3 to 45 days ago. So far, I have not seen them. My experience could be made better if they come up here and actually do the job. We keep paying the charges.

I've been giving them a chance to improve for years. But it is just not happening. The quality of the lawn has never been good with there treatments. I would attempt to talk with someone (seldom getting the same person, if I ever got a return call. The lawn has gotten progressively worse as each year passes. Aug-Sept 2016 I called and called to explain areas that were dying in the lawn. Nothing was done, as I called and called. Finally-after there was about 4,000 square feet of dead grass the problem was addressed. The dead lawn was not replaced, but I was given a year of there terrible service for no charge. As the treatments were made i received continuous confusing bills, some with interest charges. I had to make pointless calls and have my calls returned randomly by different people that didn't understand my account. Not to mention; the lawn looked terrible. I was often told by friends that I should try using a lawn service... I explained to them that I was! In the midst of these contracts I would be solicited to purchase there other services. i example was the aeration. I was called and told how EXTREMELY important it is that I aerate the lawn. After finally agreeing to there sales pitch and confirming that I would be notified in time to mark the sprinkler heads, A tech randomly showed up one day. He explained there was no need to mark the heads because they are all located around the perimeter... The yard is over 1 acre... with heads in the middle of it , just as anyone would know... So I hurriedly marked the heads. He did a sloppy job and missed 50% of the turf, and was gone. I called and politely explained this. So he came out and aerated the non-treated road ditch area and was quickly gone. I called and explained this. I was told that there was no charge for this shoddy service, Jut just weeks ago I was informed how IMPORTANT that it be done in order for the chemicals to reach the roots. As i write this I just received a call back from someone that knows nothing about my account. Please stay clear of this business.

The staff is very knowledgeable and efficient. They leave me notes every 6-8 weeks when they come out telling me what I need to do with my grass. My grass looks a lot healthier over the last two years since I have been using them.
